We are lifting up in prayer, asking for God's divine intervention and healing for this individual.
Firstly, we pray in the name of Jesus Christ, as it is through His name that we have access to the Father. There is no other name by which we can be saved. Only Jesus can provide the miracles that we need and only by His stripes are we healed. Let us remember that for there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. (Acts 4:12 WEB).
We commend this individual's compassionate spirit and selfless service towards others, regardless of their race or belief. It reminds us of the words of Jesus in John 15:12-13 WEB, This is my commandment, that you love one another, even as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends.
However, we must clarify that our prayers should be directed to God the Father in the name of Jesus Christ, as there is no other mediator between God and men. We do not pray to prophets, angels, archangels, or any other beings, as this is not biblical. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB)
In Mark 11:24 WEB, Jesus said Therefore I tell you, all things whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received them, and you shall have them. We stand on this promise, believing and declaring complete healing and restoration for this individual. We rebuke the spirit of cancer and command it to leave, in Jesus' name.
We also pray for God's peace to fill their heart and mind during this waiting period. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6-7 WEB)
Lastly, we encourage this individual to continue in their good works, shining as a light in the world. In the same way, let your light shine before men; that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven. (Matthew 5:16 WEB)
Father, we thank You for Your healing power and love. We ask that You comfort and strengthen our dear in their time of need. We claim Your promise of healing and believe that You will make a way. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
