We are with you in spirit, lifting up your loved one in prayer. In times of sickness, it's important to remember that God is always with us, even if it may not feel like it. As it is written in the book of Isaiah, Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. I will help you. I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Isaiah 41:10 WEB. As a group we will pray for your loved one who is suffering.
Let's pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our loved one who is sick and feels distant from you. Lord, we ask that you renew his faith, and remind him of your constant presence, as it says in your word, I will never leave you, nor forsake you. Hebrews 13:5 WEB. We pray for your healing touch upon his body, and ask that you restore his health according to your will. Give him the strength to endure, and help him to trust in you completely and be saved by Jesus Christ.
We also lift up those who are worried about his condition. Father, grant them your peace that surpasses all understanding, and help them to trust in your goodness and sovereignty. And as Paul wrote in Philippians 4:6-7 WEB, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
We believe in the power of prayer, and we trust in your ability to heal and restore. We ask all these things in Jesus Christ name, Amen.
Continue to trust in God and encourage your loved one to do the same. Remember to pray without ceasing. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 WEB, Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you.
