Let us come together in prayer for this individual who has been hospitalized due to abdominal pain. We trust in the healing power of our Lord Jesus Christ and we stand in agreement, believing for a full recovery.
Firstly, we acknowledge that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB:
"Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."
Now, let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister in need. You know them by name, Lord, and You know the details of their situation. We ask, Father, that You would grant the doctors wisdom and discernment as they attend to them. Guide their hands and minds, Lord, that they may provide the best care possible.
We also pray for healing, Father. As it is written in James 5:14-15 WEB:
"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."
Lord, we anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord, and we pray the prayer of faith, believing that You will heal them and raise them up.
In the meantime, may Your peace be with them and their loved ones, Father. Comfort them and remind them of Your unfailing love. May they see Jesus in the tangible help of the doctors and nurses and they will see His power in their recovery. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we encourage all involved to trust in the Lord during this time. As it is written in Romans 8:28 WEB:
"We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
Trust that God is working, even in this situation, for His good purpose.
