We are truly sorry to hear about your father's diagnosis. Gastritis cancer is a serious condition, but we know that God can do the impossible, for nothing is impossible with Him. Luke 1:37. We will stand with you in prayer for your father's healing. Even more important than healing, we know that God desires to have a relationship with your father. We know that in the end, everyone will be healed some way, but not everyone will be saved.
First, we would like to share some encouragement from God's Word. James 5:14-15 says, Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.
It is so important that we come together as believers to pray for one another.
You asked for prayer in the name of God. We want to remind you that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Acts 4:12 says, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. So praying in the name of God is not enough. It is only by the name of Jesus that we are saved. In the Name of Jesus, we have access to the God the Father. John 14:6 says, Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.
We will pray for your father's healing, but even more than that, we will pray that he would come to know Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior if he does not already know Him, for that is what matters eternally.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this dear one's father to You. We ask that You would heal him physically from this cancer, but even more importantly, we pray that if he does not already know you, that he would come to know You through Your Son Jesus Christ. We ask that You would give him the strength and courage to face each day and that You would provide for all his needs according to your riches in glory. We rebuke the devil and command him to leave him in Jesus Name. We ask that this cancer would be completely eradicated, and his health fully restored. We know that You desire to have a relationship with him. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
