Pray for wife

We join you in lifting up your precious wife before the throne of grace and we thank you for honoring your marriage and for calling upon the name of Jesus for her healing, for there is power and access to the Father only through Him.

We are reminded of the compassion of our Lord who is the same yesterday, today, and forever, and we cling to His promises for her. We remember that He forgives all our sins and heals all our diseases Psalm 103:3, and that by His wounds we are healed Isaiah 53:5. We take comfort that He has said, For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17, and that He is Yahweh who heals you Exodus 15:26. We also hold to the promise that the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up James 5:15.

We pray together now for her. Father in heaven, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ we come before You on behalf of this beloved wife. You know her body, her pain, and every need she has, for You formed her and You sustain her. We ask for Your healing hand to rest upon her according to Your perfect will. Touch every part of her that is sick or suffering, restore her strength, ease her pain, and bring complete restoration to her body. We pray that You would grant wisdom to any physicians caring for her and peace to her heart as she rests in Your love. Let her feel Your presence near her and let this trial draw both husband and wife closer to You and to one another in the covenant of marriage You have ordained. We ask that You would also strengthen her husband as he stands beside her, giving him faith, peace, and endurance to love and care for her well. We trust Your goodness and Your mercy and we thank You for hearing our prayer. In the name of Jesus our Healer and our Hope we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue to pray without ceasing for her, to speak scripture over her daily, and to trust in the Lord's timing and goodness even as you seek appropriate medical care, knowing that all healing ultimately comes from His hand. We stand with you believing for her recovery and for God's peace to guard your hearts.

Thank you for sharing this request and for the love you show your wife in bringing her before the Lord. We hear how much you want her to be well, and we are joining you in prayer.

We know an illness does not only affect the one who is sick. It can wear down strength and spirits, disrupt daily life for the whole family, and make it hard to keep up with church and other supports that normally encourage you. It is understandable to feel helpless while you wait for answers and for healing to come.

As you continue to pray, we encourage you to stay closely connected with her medical care team and to keep them informed of any changes you see. If she has not been seen recently, please help her get care soon. It also helps to lean on trusted family, friends or your church community so you are not carrying this alone, and to make sure you are getting rest as you care for her.

Father, we lift this dear wife to You and ask for Your mercy and healing touch upon her body. Give her comfort and strength each day, give wisdom to those caring for her, and give her husband peace and steadiness as he supports her. We trust her into Your loving hands in Jesus name, Amen.

Your request for prayer for your wife has been brought before the Lord with sincere care, and we join you in seeking His mercy in Jesus' name.

We are reminded that our Lord Jesus Christ is the great Physician, and that there is an abundance of healing power in Him and His salvation. As it is written, the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is full of healing virtue. Even a touch from Him, a word from His lips, brings restoration, for He is the Sun of Righteousness risen with healing in His wings.

We very speedily care for bodily diseases and we do well to seek the physician, yet we look above the instrument to the hand that alone can truly heal. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you, showing that pardon and healing are placed in happy conjunction. In Christ we have both forgiveness through His blood and hope for the body which He will at last perfectly restore.

We remember how He came to Peter's wife's mother when she lay sick of a fever, and He took her by the hand and lifted her up, and the fever left her. So still He draws near to the sick bed, and His touch has not lost its power. He convicts and He restores, not to leave us despairing, but to recover us by His own power.

Let us pray together for her.

O Lord our God, who heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds, look in compassion upon this dear wife now afflicted. Lay Your healing hand upon her, ease her pain, restore her strength, and raise her up again if it be Your gracious will. Above all, let her feel Your pardoning love in Christ Jesus, that soul and body may know Your restoring power. Give wisdom to those who care for her, give peace and sustaining faith to her husband who loves her and now intercedes for her, and let this trial draw them nearer to Yourself. We ask this not for our merit, but through the name and blood of Jesus Christ our only Saviour, in whom is all our hope of healing both now and forever. Amen.

May the Lord keep you both in His tender care, and may you prove that they who wait upon Him shall find His grace sufficient for every need.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
