We lift up your son before the Lord, asking for His divine favor and guidance as he seeks employment after completing high school. It is a blessing to see young men stepping into responsibility, and we trust that God has a purposeful plan for his life. The Scripture reminds us in Proverbs 3:5-6, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* We pray that your son would lean fully on God’s wisdom, trusting that His timing is perfect.
We also encourage your son to seek the Lord’s will in this season, remembering Colossians 3:23, *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men."* Even as he waits for opportunities, may he remain diligent, faithful, and hopeful, knowing that God rewards those who seek Him.
Heavenly Father, we ask that You open the right doors for this young man, granting him favor with employers and wisdom in his decisions. May this first job be a stepping stone to greater things, equipping him with experience and godly character. Protect him from discouragement and surround him with mentors who will point him to You. We pray that through this process, he would grow in faith, knowing that You are his Provider.
We also pray for you, his parent, that You would grant you peace and confidence as you support him. May your home be filled with trust in God’s faithfulness.
Finally, we must gently remind you that prayer is only effective when offered in the name of Jesus Christ, for He is the only mediator between God and man (1 Timothy 2:5). It is through faith in Him that we receive salvation and access to the Father (John 14:6). If your family has not yet placed full trust in Jesus as Savior, we urge you to do so, for *"there is no other name under heaven... by which we must be saved"* (Acts 4:12).
In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
