We pray for God's will to be done in the last days of President Obama -- for protection from outside forces and inside threats -- for all evil counsel to be withheld by a mere nod of Your Godhead -- again for all transition to be peaceful and harmonious and for the prayers of The Christian Leaders and People from all Believing Churches left here ad abroad and on all Christian websites throughout the world. May our eyes be "looking unto Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before Him endured he cross and despised the shame, and has set down at the right side of God" (Heb 12:2). He is The One True Mediator between God and man -- "For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself a ransom for all" (1 Timothy 2:5-6).
As far as "rioting" -- this is a public crime and ought to be treated as such. May God protect law enforcement, military and national guard if needed. There is a world of difference between a peaceful protest and a riot...
As far as new Christians who cannot comprehend an endorsement or semi-endorsement of a rather wild and brutish man -- give them the passages of Jehu, Josiah and Jehoshaphat -- kings in Israel and Judah who were anointed to be bold and strong after years of mongrel religion corrupted by every false worship and demonic influence had gained entry into the land God had chosen (Israel) under heaven...
For those “haters” of Trump that call themselves believers and claim he is not a Christian – Firstly, he has been elected as President of the U.S. -- The Bible commands us to not speak evil of our leaders -- “You shall not revile God, nor curse a ruler of your people" (Ex 22:28), and, "You shall not speak evil of a ruler of your country" (Acts 23:5). Of that, Matthew Henry agrees, "Great men may be told of their faults, and public complaints may be made in a proper manner; but the law of God requires respect for those in authority" (Commentary on Acts 23:5).
Realistically, when was the last time we had a Christian President? The first act of President Obama as President was to Use Tax-payers money to fund international abortions! Hillary Clinton is by no means a proponent of Christianity, and has revealed an ideology of decreasing freedom of speech for believers and increasing taxes in a way that leaned more toward socialism -- furthermore she had a far more aggressive agenda for the biggest sin on the table -- abortion! (Her husband's first Act was the "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" lifting of banning homosexuals in the Military! Not to mention what his second acts in the White House were)... So where Trump may not be a Christian, America could have chosen two other Christians that were running, but did not. At least Vice-President Pence, is a humble, born-again, believer -- We clearly need to see that we are both under judgement and that God is being as merciful as possible since "all authority is from God" (Rom 13:1). We need to be focused on God, praising, asking for revival and thanking God for His mercy...
"LORD, I have heard the report about You and I fear. O LORD, revive Your work in the midst of the years, In the midst of the years make it known; In wrath remember mercy" (Habakkuk 3:2)
As for those who claim he is a fascist, I do not think they understand either voting or the checks and balances of the American Government, nor what America has been historically – A Free Country -- Trump is a capitalist, not a fascist – He will not be allowed to become a Hitler, Stalin or Mussolini because we have a Senate, House, Supreme Court and a Voting Population – even if they are predominantly "republican;" or not... ALL these branches of Government and "all people" are to receive prayers, intercessions, supplications and thanksgivings -- of which we are enjoined to pray for by Paul's admonition above from 1 Timothy 2:1-4... Grant us peace and help American believers attend prayer meetings, pray and fast, and accept the words of Daniel to King Nebuchadnezzar -- This is a time for repentance and revival -- " Therefore, O king, may my advice be pleasing to you: break away now from your sins by doing righteousness and from your iniquities by showing mercy to the poor, in case there may be a prolonging of your prosperity " (Daniel 4:27). Help us reach all of America with the gospel and true repentance and enable us continue to send missionaries around the world. Strengthen the International Body of Believers in Messiah, Y'Shua, Jesus Christ -- We need your prayers right now as the Church of Jesus Internationally needs ours as well!
