We hear your cry for help in this time of great distress, and we come before the throne of grace together, lifting you up in prayer. Your house has collapsed, your leg is injured, and sickness threatens, yet we know that our God is a refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). You called upon the name of Jesus, and that is the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. We pray that you know Him not just as a helper in times of trouble, but as your Lord and Savior, the One who bore your sins on the cross so that you might have eternal life (John 3:16).
Father God, we ask You to stretch forth Your healing hand upon this dear one’s leg. You are the Great Physician, and by Your stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). Touch this injury, Lord, and bring complete restoration. Ease the pain, reduce the swelling, and let every broken bone, torn muscle, and damaged tissue be made whole in Jesus’ name. We also pray against sickness, disease, and infection. Your Word declares that You will take away sickness from among us (Exodus 23:25), and we claim that promise now. Strengthen this body, Lord, and let health spring forth speedily.
Financial lack is pressing heavily upon this family, Lord, and we ask You to open the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it (Malachi 3:10). You own the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10), and nothing is too hard for You. Provide the resources needed to rebuild this house, Lord, not just as a shelter, but as a dwelling place that honors You. Guide the hands of those who will help, and let this home be a testimony of Your faithfulness.
We also lift up the spiritual condition of this household. If there is any unforgiveness, bitterness, or sin that may be hindering these blessings, we pray for repentance and cleansing by the blood of Jesus (1 John 1:9). Let this trial draw this family closer to You, Lord, and not drive them away. May they seek You with their whole heart and find You (Jeremiah 29:13).
We rebuke the spirit of despair and hopelessness in Jesus’ name. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that this is not the end of the story, God is working all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28).
Heavenly Father, we trust You to move mightily on behalf of this family. Provide laborers to help rebuild, doctors to bring healing, and financial provision to meet every need. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith. Amen.
