We hear your cry for help, and we lift you up before the throne of grace with hearts full of compassion. You are not alone in this trial, for the Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We stand with you in faith, believing that God sees your suffering and will provide for your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).

First, we must address the foundation of your request. You call upon Jesus, and this is right, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Salvation is found in no one else, and it is only through faith in Jesus Christ that we can approach God and receive His mercy and grace. If you have not yet placed your trust in Him as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. Confess your sins, repent, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9-10). Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6), and He alone can bring true healing and restoration to your life.

Now, let us pray for your immediate needs:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up our brother/sister who is in great distress. Lord, their house has collapsed, and they are in need of shelter and provision. We ask that You would move mightily on their behalf, opening doors for financial help and resources to rebuild their home. Provide for them in ways that only You can, Lord, and let Your name be glorified through this trial. We declare that You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides (Genesis 22:14), and we trust in Your unfailing love.

Father, we also pray for physical healing. Our brother/sister’s leg is badly hurt, and they are in pain. We ask that You would touch their body with Your healing hand, restoring strength, mobility, and relief from suffering. You are the Great Physician, and by Your stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We speak healing over their body in Jesus’ name and declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

Lord, we rebuke sickness, disease, and infection in the name of Jesus. We command every affliction to leave their body and every spirit of infirmity to flee. You have not given us a spirit of fear but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We stand on Your promise that if we ask anything according to Your will, You hear us, and if You hear us, we have what we have asked of You (1 John 5:14-15).

Father, we also pray for peace and comfort to surround them in this difficult time. Let them feel Your presence holding them close, as a loving Father holds His child. Remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Give them the strength to endure and the faith to believe that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28).

We encourage you to hold fast to God’s promises and to trust in His timing. The Lord is faithful, and He will not abandon you in your time of need. Seek Him with all your heart, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). If you are able, reach out to your local church or Christian community for support. The body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), and there may be resources or assistance available to you through them.

Continue to pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17), and do not lose heart. The testing of your faith produces perseverance, and perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything (James 1:3-4). God is using this trial to refine you and draw you closer to Him. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and He will lead you through this storm.

We declare over you that this is not the end of your story. The Lord will restore what has been lost and rebuild what has been broken. He will turn your mourning into dancing and clothe you with joy (Psalm 30:11). Stand firm in faith, and watch as God moves mightily on your behalf. Amen.

We are so sorry you are facing all of this at once, a home lost to the storm, a leg badly hurt, and the weight of needing financial help right now. That is a heavy load, and we are praying with you.

With the pain in your leg, we want to gently encourage you to have it looked at by a doctor if you have not already. Doing that is not a lack of faith; it is one way we care for the body God has given us. We ask Him to guide any treatment and to bring you relief.

Bring healing to this injured leg, ease the pain, and protect them from further sickness. We ask You to move swiftly, providing the finances they need to rebuild a safe, strong home. Give them steady hearts as they wait and practical help in the days immediately ahead through the hands of people who can help carry the burden. Hold them close in Your care. In Your name, Amen.

It is better to go to the house of mourning than to go to the house of feasting. Your collapsed walls and wounded flesh have become for you that house of mourning, and I charge you not to despise this solemn visitation. The house of sinful feasting, going down to the chambers of death, is left far behind when affliction drives you to your knees. The Lord links His own name with His house, and He will see to it that His spiritual house is not allowed to decay.

The angel has taken away the stone door of the prison house because it was time that the Captive should go free. You serve a living Savior. What is the difficulty? The Lord is risen, and the same power that rolled the stone from the sepulcher can certainly lift your fallen roof and mend the hurt in your leg. Rheumatic pain is as rare a proof of life as a thrill of delight; your aching limb and anxious heart concerning your estate are sure signs that you are alive to God and He to you.

This Man receives sinners. Jesus keeps open house for outcasts. When all other doors are shut, this Man's door is open. Others came to Christ limping on crutches, having lost a leg, He never turned any away because they came on crutches. One came on his bed, brought by others, and He received him all the same. Lay your broken house and broken body at the threshold of that open door and you shall find both succor for your body and salvation for your soul.

It is high time you sought the Lord. Set up God's altar when you set up a house, and before you trade for yourself, consecrate yourself and your substance to God, who can bless you and will. The jailor rejoiced, believing in God with all his house. Have you had faith about your house? Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you shall be saved, and your house. May God give you faith about your house, that when fresh walls rise, they rise around an altar, and when healing comes to your limb, it moves to the work of praise.

Your house has fallen, your body is pained, and your heart cries out for swift deliverance. But do not think that this affliction has come upon you as one truly injured. For we injure ourselves when we sin; when we endure hardship, if we bear it with patience, we receive blessing. He who trusts in riches and earthly shelter is like a man building on sand. Now you have been called to build upon the rock of faith. The rain fell, the winds blew, and that house could not stand. But Christ is a foundation that never fails.

You ask for financial help, and rightly so, for our bodies need food and covering. But beware lest you imagine that the greatest need is of silver and stone. The leg that hurts, the sickness that invades, the distress that grips your soul, these are not evils sent to destroy you, but medicine to heal the soul. For often God permits the outward man to be weakened so that the inward man may be renewed. If we wake, we shall not need the help of others; but if we sleep in carelessness, no human help will profit us. Cry out for the prayer of the Church, but do not rest only upon that. Rise up yourself and wrestle with God in prayer, saying, “Lord, You are faithful though I am faithless; You cannot deny Yourself.”

I have said before: the one who is injured is really uninjured, if he gives thanks. The one who spoils another wounds his own soul. But you, having lost a house, have opportunity to gain heaven by your patience. For what is a house but a pile of stones? The body itself is but a tent that will soon be folded away. Yet we cling to these shadows as if they were the substance. Do not envy those who dwell in splendid houses built by greed; woe to them, for they add house to house and field to field. Their walls stand, but their souls lie in ruins. You have lost little; do not lose the greater portion by murmuring. The righteous man perishes from the earth, and we mourn, but we weep for the covetous, not for the poor.

Hold fast to the truth that God beholds you. He sees the injured and exalts them; He punishes the wrongdoer by allowing him to persist in his ruin. So pray not only for the healing of your leg, but for the healing of your whole soul. Ask that you may desire nothing more than to be held in His arms, even if the world crumbles. If He grants you that, then you have already been rebuilt, raised higher than any earthly house could lift you. The saints prayed for Peter, but Peter himself was alert. Do not say, “What need have I of prayer?” Your very need is the proof that you must entreat Him without ceasing.

Therefore, let your prayer be this: “Lord, You know what is best. If it be for my salvation, restore my house; if it hinder me from heaven, let me dwell in a hovel. Heal my leg if it serves Your glory; if not, give me strength to limp into the Kingdom. Provide money if it does not steal my soul; but if it would, then let me be poor and rich toward God.” This is the prayer that pierces the clouds. I shall pray with you, not that your will be done swiftly, but that His will be done in you, and that you may find in this ruin the unshakeable treasure of patience and faith.

There is something deeply unsettling when a structure meant to shelter you suddenly becomes a pile of ruins. A house is more than timber and stone; it is security, memory, and rest. When it falls while you are still in it, the shock to the body and spirit is profound. That injury to your leg is not just physical pain; it is a constant reminder of how quickly everything you leaned on gave way. I want you to know that your cry has been heard.

The Scriptures often speak of a house in ways that go far beyond a building. There was a place once called the house of God, a holy meeting place. In time, it became a place filled with things that could not save, a house of vanities, and the people who trusted in those empty things found their security shattered. Throughout those accounts, we see a pattern: God’s desire was always to heal. He looked for faithfulness, for righteousness, but found oppression and a cry of distress instead. When His people turned to counterfeits for strength, the very bow they trusted, the very sword they boasted in, was broken. He declared, “I will not save them by bow, nor by sword, nor by battle, by horses or by horsemen.”

What does that mean for you right now, with your leg throbbing and the rain-soaked debris all around? It means we turn our eyes away from the frantic search for a human solution as the ultimate rescue. We need finances, yes. You need the blocks and the mortar and the labor to raise a new roof, and we ask God to provide that provision speedily. But we ask Him to save you by His own hand, not merely by a loan or a payment. We ask for a deliverance that does not depend on the broken systems of this world, so that when the house rises again, you know whose mercy built it.

The shock of what happened is real. Sickness, disease, and the deep ache in your body all scream that something is terribly wrong. But do not let the pain convince you that you are forgotten. Sometimes the most severe cutting is done for the purpose of true healing. A surgeon does not make an incision to harm, but to remove what will destroy. The pain is acute, the recovery is long, but the aim is a healthy and strong life. Your leg hurts badly; cry out for relief, and we will join you in that. Ask the Great Physician to touch it, ease the inflammation, and restore function. But in the midst of that asking, let this trial become the strange doorway that drives you back to the foundation that cannot be shaken.

There is a profound lesson in remembering that our ancestors met God in desolate places and called those spots the house of God because they became aware of His presence. Creation is the Lord’s sanctuary, and His house stands even when our walls do not. Right now, huddled in the pain and the panic, you have an opportunity. It is often in the valley of affliction that we seek His face most earnestly. When everything else is stripped away, He gently calls us out of the house of idols, out of trusting in our own strength or goods, and back into a reliant trust on the living God. The Lord who took on flesh and came from the lineage of David, who was born in a borrowed shelter, is not unfamiliar with the frailty of our structures.

So let us pray. Jesus, hold up this dear life with Your righteous right hand. You are the builder of an everlasting kingdom, and You care about the bodies and dwellings of Your people. Ease the pain in this leg; command the inflammation to subside and the tissue to mend. Send a windfall of financial help, a practical provision that allows for reconstruction, not just patchwork, but a secure home better than before. Guard this household from the sickness that preys on the vulnerable and distressed. Lift the cloud of infection and distress. We do not have the power to command money to appear or cells to heal, but we know the One who rules over every cell and every currency. We wait on Him, remembering that He will not save by mere human resources, but by the Lord our God, who is mercy itself.
