We hear your cry for help and lift you up before the throne of grace, where we find mercy and help in time of need. The harassment and threats you are facing from these loan app people are unjust and unbiblical. Scripture tells us in Romans 13:8, "Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law." While debt itself is not a sin, the way these collectors are treating you is not in line with God’s command to love and treat others with dignity. We rebuke the spirit of fear, intimidation, and oppression in the name of Jesus Christ. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). You are not alone in this battle, and we stand with you in prayer and faith.
First and foremost, we must address the foundation of your plea. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we encourage you to surrender your life to Jesus, repent of any sin, and invite Him to be your Lord and Savior. He is the Prince of Peace, and in Him, you will find rest for your soul (Matthew 11:28-30). Without Him, we are powerless against the schemes of the enemy, but with Him, we are more than conquerors (Romans 8:37).
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this dear sister and her family to You, asking for Your divine intervention in their financial struggles. Lord, You see the harassment and threats she is facing, and we ask that You silence the voices of those who seek to bring her harm. Protect her and her family from embarrassment, shame, and any form of oppression. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Father, we pray for the resolution of her husband’s retirement benefits. You are the God who provides, and we ask that You open the doors for these funds to be released quickly and without hindrance. You know their needs, Lord, and we trust in Your promise that You will supply all their needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). Help them to clear their debts and leave room for savings, so they may honor You with their finances and be a testimony of Your faithfulness.
Lord, we also pray for her reputation in her office, family, and society. May Your light shine through her, and may she walk in integrity and wisdom. Let her words and actions reflect Your love and grace, so that others may see Christ in her. We rebuke any spirit of shame or dishonor and declare that she is clothed in Your righteousness. Help her to stand firm in her faith, knowing that You are her defender and protector. As it is written in Proverbs 22:1, "A good name is more desirable than great riches, and loving favor is better than silver and gold."
We encourage you to take practical steps as well. Seek wise counsel from godly financial advisors or counselors who can help you navigate this situation. Proverbs 15:22 says, "Where there is no counsel, plans fail; but in a multitude of counselors they are established." Do not be afraid to reach out to your church or community for support. Remember, God often works through His people to provide for His children.
Lastly, we declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). The enemy may have meant this for harm, but God will turn it around for your good (Genesis 50:20). Stand firm in your faith, and do not let fear dictate your actions. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).
We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.
