pray for understanding

I just knew I was going to California with Brenda and Lisa to help with fires.  I just knew God called us all to go and I knew today we would get the call.  Well today we got the call…but they changed their mind and told me I had to stay behind.  I was heartbroken.  I wanted to be with them for Christmas…made me sad.  But I guess God has other plans and maybe I am not meant to be there.  For whatever reason it was not God’s will.  So I am asking for prayers for understanding and not being miserable while they are gone.  I want the sadness to go away and be turned into gladness and for God to do his work on Brenda while she is gone.  AMEN
