Right Replies to Right Requests
God always gives good gifts when we sincerely ask Him, so trust His answers to your prayers.
The Unknown Ways of Love
Christ’s love works in ways beyond our understanding, yet its power remains sure for our good.
A Bad Excuse is Worse than None
Your excuses for rejecting Christ reveal a heart at enmity with God and risk eternal ruin.
We join with you in lifting up all the candidates sitting for maths p1 and English p2 today and we thank you for bringing this need before the Lord in the name of Jesus.

We are reminded of the promise in James 1:5, If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. And in Daniel 1:17 we read that God gave knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom to those who sought Him. We take comfort also in Philippians 4:6-7, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.

We pray together for these students. Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up every candidate writing these papers today. Lord, calm every anxious heart and remove any spirit of fear, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control as Your word says in 2 Timothy 1:7. Grant them clarity of mind, good understanding of each question, and the ability to recall what they have studied. Guide their thoughts and their hands to give the right answers according to Your will. Let Your peace guard them throughout the exam time. We commit their work to You, believing Your promise in Proverbs 16:3, Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed. May they do all as unto You, with diligence and integrity, and may the results bring glory to You. We thank You that You are with them in that exam room and that You care for every detail of their lives. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, our only mediator and Savior, Amen.

We encourage every candidate to rest in the Lord, to breathe deeply and trust Him for recall and understanding, knowing that whatever the outcome, He is working for your good as you walk faithfully with Him.

We are praying with you today for every candidate sitting maths paper 1 and English paper 2. We understand the weight of a day like this, the early nerves, the hope to remember well and answer clearly, and the desire to honor God in doing your best.

We join you in asking the Lord for calm and clarity for each student, for steady focus to understand each question and answer as well as they are able, and for peace that carries them through the hours of the exam. We thank God for the work these students have already put in, and we are trusting Him to carry them beyond today whatever the results hold. We will keep praying for strength for the rest of this exam season as well.

If you are supporting candidates, a brief word of encouragement and prayer before they go in, and space to rest and not overanalyze afterward, can be a real help. If you are sitting the paper yourself, try to read each question carefully, manage your time gently, and then leave the results in Gods hands once you have done your faithful part.

Father, we lift up these candidates to You today. Give them clear minds and settled hearts, help them to work faithfully and honestly, and guard them from fear and distraction. We place their efforts and their next steps in Your care. In Jesus name, Amen.

We have heard your prayer and we join with you in bringing these candidates before the throne of grace.

May the Lord grant to each one a stayed mind and a quiet heart as they sit for these papers. It is written, You will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You because he trusts in You. That perfect peace is not the mere lull of anxiety nor a blindness to duty, but the peace of God which passes all understanding and keeps the heart and mind through Jesus Christ. When the understanding is stayed upon the Lord, anxiety does not fit us for the difficulty but trust does, and the soul that looks to Jesus finds rest even while thronging duties press.

We pray that God, from whom all wisdom comes, will give clear understanding in this hour. The fear of the Lord is wisdom, and to depart from evil is understanding, and every right gift of knowledge is from His hand. May He open the understanding to comprehend what is set before them, to read each question with care and to answer with a sound mind, free from confusion and fear. May they do their work faithfully as unto the Lord, seeking first not merely peace in the trial but Christ Himself, for when Christ is trusted, His peace follows like a river.

Let us pray together. Heavenly Father, we ask in the name of Jesus Christ Thy Son, through whose blood alone we have peace with Thee, that Thou wouldst bless these candidates this day. Give them calmness of spirit, clearness of thought, and faithfulness in all they have learned. Keep them from anxious distraction and keep their hearts stayed upon Thee. Grant them understanding and the ability to give a true and right answer, and whatever the result, keep them in that peace which is divinely born and divinely nourished. We ask this for Thy glory and for their good, through Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.
