We come before the Lord with hearts burdened for the need for humility in those who have been lifted up in pride, and we cry out for justice where deception and wickedness have taken root. The Scriptures remind us that *"God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble"* (James 4:6, WEB). It is not our will, but His, that must be done—so we pray that the Lord would break the hardness of hearts and bring low those who exalt themselves against His righteousness.
For those you have mentioned, we ask that the Lord would work mightily, not for destruction, but for repentance—that they may turn from their wicked ways and acknowledge Him as Sovereign. *"The Lord brings the counsel of the nations to nothing. He makes the thoughts of the peoples to be of no effect. The counsel of the Lord stands fast forever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations"* (Psalm 33:10-11, WEB). May His hand be heavy upon them until they bow before Him in truth.
As for the company and guards you have named, where lies and evil have been perpetuated, we declare that *"no lie is of the truth"* (1 John 2:21, WEB). The Lord sees all things, and He will bring every hidden deed into the light. We pray for divine intervention—that their schemes would be exposed, their tongues silenced, and their hearts convicted. *"Let the lying lips be mute, which speak against the righteous insolently, with pride and contempt"* (Psalm 31:18, WEB). Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
