Pray for those people here who don't realise: It's so selfish to ask God to make someone love you, without considering that person's desire and happiness. You claim you can make them happy, but what if you're not what makes them so? You might want that person, but what about what that person wants? Your prayer might be to have that person, but what about who that person is praying to have? Why should God have to answer your prayers over their prayers. Why should your desires be given priority over their desires. Just 'cause you pray more fervently or desire more strongly, you think God should grant you your wish? What about THE OTHER PERSON'S WISH?! Should He change it against their will (treating them like a puppet) - just to make it suit yours? I'm talking about their attitude. These people don't know the first thing about real love, or higher love, that is. Their love is extremely selfish. It's all about fulfilling their needs, their desires. The other person and their heart desires and needs don't come into the equation at all.
Their head is full of satisfying themselves, justifying and glossing over this with the lie: that they can make the other person happy (they're sure). However, you might already be making the person unhappy just by overlooking their wishes and trying to force YOUR will upon them through God (via prayer).
I don't mean the prayers are a threat but that the very gesture is problematic in its meaning. It's also aggravating. Esp. when they've been told off yet still insist on continuing what they do. They keep begging God for one thing and then say: "What does it matter how I pray? God will answer if it's His will and not, if not. So I'm not doing harm to the other person; why should it bother them." But do you think that makes it OK to pray anything you want? Even if God doesn't allow it (He won't, unless the relationship is His will), that very act is an insult. Even if there's no other visible harm done, due to Him not granting you something against His will, such prayers lack wisdom. It doesn't say you love the other person; it says you love yourself. And that you would want God to force them to love you, i.e. "fill their heart with feelings for me". It's true the more the other isn't right for you and you're not somebody they can or want to love.
You want God shove into somebody feelings they don't want, even against their will? Again, why should He respect yours over theirs - esp. when you don't even respect His? Don't say you do; if you did, you wouldn't constantly beg Him and whine. You might want the other person badly, but they might not want to be with you. Now what should God do? Side with you, 'cause you're more earnest? More desperate? Who's to say the other person isn't. What it comes down to is this: God will only grant someone when it's in line with His will, anyway.
There are other better, wiser ways to pray. Keeping on begging Him for a certain person, is neither displaying trust nor respect for Him. It is pointless to do so. Such ways of praying only show that your prideful and stubborn about getting your own way. Such people are unfit for love and relationship. They're not fit even for friendship.
You might be wasting time praying to have the wrong person, when all the while there is another person God has in mind for you.
