Good and Faithful Servant
Pls pray for this like it is puzzling but I am still single and kept having vision of ### walking down with me in marriage in the church aisle and a depiction of the dove flying over and during the prayer I sense that Jesus or the holy spirit is bringing someone but have not brought any yet. Moreover it is persistent and scripture and books lead me to marriage. But I am not there yet. Please do not link it to fornication as it is not happening. But why strange things and feelings start to happen what is this....

We hear your heart and the longing you carry for marriage, and we stand with you in prayer, seeking the Lord’s will and timing in this matter. The visions and promptings you describe—of walking down the aisle and the dove symbolizing the Holy Spirit—are indeed profound. Scripture tells us, *"Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path"* (Psalm 119:105). The Lord often speaks through dreams, visions, and His Word, but we must always test these things against Scripture and seek His wisdom to understand them fully.

First, let us address the foundation of your faith. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we encourage you to surrender your life fully to Jesus, acknowledging Him as Lord and Savior, for it is in Him that we find our identity, purpose, and fulfillment. If you have already done this, we rejoice with you and pray for continued growth in your relationship with Him.

The persistence of these visions and the sense that the Lord is leading you toward marriage is not something to dismiss lightly. The Bible speaks clearly about the goodness of marriage, as God said, *"It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make him a helper comparable to him"* (Genesis 2:18). Marriage is a sacred covenant, designed by God to reflect His love for the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). If the Lord has placed this desire in your heart, we trust that He will fulfill it in His perfect timing. However, we must also guard our hearts against impatience or misinterpreting His leading. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."*

We must also address the "strange things and feelings" you mention. The enemy often seeks to distort God’s voice or plant seeds of doubt, fear, or confusion. 1 Peter 5:8 warns us, *"Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour."* If these feelings or experiences are causing you distress or leading you away from peace, we rebuke any deception or lies of the enemy in Jesus’ name. Stand firm on the truth of God’s Word, and do not allow fear or uncertainty to take root. The Holy Spirit is our Comforter and Guide (John 14:26), and He will never lead you into confusion or sin.

We also want to encourage you to prepare your heart for marriage in a way that honors the Lord. Marriage is not merely about finding a spouse but becoming the spouse God has called you to be. Are you cultivating godly character, patience, and trust in the Lord’s timing? Are you seeking His will above your own desires? James 4:7-8 reminds us, *"Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you."* As you draw near to God, He will align your heart with His and prepare you for the blessings He has in store.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is seeking Your will for marriage. Lord, we thank You for the visions and promptings You have placed on their heart, and we ask that You would give them clarity and peace as they seek to understand Your leading. Father, we pray that You would guard their heart against confusion, fear, or deception. Help them to trust in Your timing and to rest in the knowledge that You are faithful to fulfill Your promises.

Lord, we ask that You would prepare them for marriage in a way that honors You. Cultivate in them the fruit of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Father, if it is Your will for them to marry, we pray that You would bring the right spouse into their life at the perfect time. Let this person be a godly man/woman who loves You above all else and who will walk with them in faith, love, and mutual submission to You.

We rebuke any lies of the enemy that seek to distort Your voice or cause doubt in their heart. We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper, and we stand on Your promise that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).

Father, we also pray for their spiritual growth and maturity. Help them to seek You above all else, to delight in Your Word, and to walk in obedience to Your commands. May their life be a testimony of Your grace and faithfulness, and may they find their ultimate fulfillment in You alone.

We trust You, Lord, to lead them step by step, and we declare that Your plans for them are good, plans to prosper them and not to harm them, plans to give them hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Continue to seek the Lord in prayer and in His Word, and surround yourself with godly counsel and community. Marriage is a beautiful gift, but it is not the source of our joy or identity—Christ is. As you wait, may you find your deepest satisfaction in Him, and may He prepare you for the blessings He has in store.

We're right there with you, friend, feeling the weight of this longing for marriage and the persistent visions you've been having. It's like you're standing at the edge of a beautiful field, seeing the church aisle and the dove, but you're not quite sure when or how you'll get to walk down that path. We want you to know that we're holding your hand, praying with you, and believing with you for the fulfillment of these promises.

We've been reminded of Psalm 37:4, "Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart." You've been delighting in the Lord, seeking His will, and He's been planting these desires in your heart. Trust that He's got a plan, and it's good. He sees you, He knows you, and He's working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28).

Let's keep our hearts open to His leading, but also stay alert. The enemy doesn't want you to experience the joy and fulfillment of God's plans, so he might try to plant doubts or fears. But remember, greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). You can stand firm in the truth and rebuke any lies that come your way.

While you wait, why not use this time to grow in your relationship with God? Ask Him to help you cultivate patience, trust, and godly character. Read His Word, spend time in prayer, and surround yourself with godly friends who can encourage and support you.

We're praying for you, dear friend. We're asking God to give you clarity, peace, and trust in His timing. We're asking Him to prepare you for marriage in a way that honors Him, and if it's His will, to bring the right person into your life at the right time. We're believing with you for the fulfillment of these promises, and we're here for you every step of the way.

Keep seeking the Lord, and remember, your ultimate joy and identity are found in Him. He's got you, and He's working everything out for your good.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Why evildoers always get away and prosper with their ill-gotten gains with lots of politics but the righteous have to suffer for God's kingdom. And why Jesus allowed that to happen like why he was hung on the cross yet he don't spit at the Roman soldier who prosecuted him and hung him on the...
