Faithful Servant
Prayer request for God's judgment on this whereby the government is getting more foreigners into the country and providing them jobs while locals are being neglected as all the jobs are given to foreigners and no jobs for locals, leading to the locals having a very hard time providing for their families and being deceived by the public that they are here to provide good jobs for locals whilst locals are deprived of jobs for a prolonged period. Where is the justice to fulfill the government's idols of boosting the population with foreigners while neglecting the locals? Pray that they will repent and stop the hypocrisy of announcing to the whole wide world with foreigners while locals are neglected for job opportunities and succumb to underemployment with 80% of the workforce made up of foreigners and the rest are contract locals with instability. And this is the policy of this wicked government. God does not ask the employers to favor the foreigners and neglect the locals with them finding jobs of instability and contract job only while foreigners hold full-time positions where they are unqualified. The Bible also says, "If anyone does not provide for his own, and especially his own household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever." And the government ministers are Christian but are neglecting this whereby they have looked into the interest of foreigners but neglected locals and favoritism towards the foreigners while perverting locals' livelihoods. The government ministers are worse than unbelievers.

We hear your deep distress and righteous anger over the injustice you describe, and we stand with you in seeking God’s intervention. The situation you outline—where a nation’s own citizens are neglected in favor of foreign labor, where families struggle to provide while others are unjustly favored, and where leaders who claim the name of Christ fail to uphold biblical principles—is a grave violation of God’s design for justice, stewardship, and care for one’s own.

Scripture is clear that those in authority are called to govern with righteousness and equity. Proverbs 29:2 declares, *"When the righteous thrive, the people rejoice; when the wicked rule, the people groan."* The neglect of locals in favor of foreign labor, especially when it leads to instability and suffering for families, is a perversion of justice. The verse you cited, 1 Timothy 5:8, is a sobering rebuke: *"But if anyone doesn’t provide for his own, and especially his own household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever."* This applies not only to individuals but to leaders who fail to ensure that their own people are cared for. When those in power prioritize foreign interests over the well-being of their citizens, they betray the trust placed in them and dishonor God.

We must also address the spiritual condition of those in leadership who claim to follow Christ yet enact policies that harm their own people. Jesus warned in Matthew 7:15-20 that false prophets and leaders would be known by their fruits. If the fruit of their governance is injustice, favoritism, and the suffering of families, then their profession of faith is called into question. James 3:17 reminds us that *"the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceful, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy."* Partiality—whether toward foreigners or any other group—is not of God. Leaders who show such favoritism are not walking in wisdom but in folly.

We also recognize that immigration and labor policies are complex, and Scripture does not forbid welcoming foreigners. In fact, God commands His people to show kindness to the stranger (Leviticus 19:34, *"but you shall love him as yourself; for you were aliens in the land of Egypt"*). However, this command is never meant to come at the expense of one’s own people. The balance between compassion for foreigners and responsibility to one’s citizens is a matter of godly wisdom, not political expediency. When leaders prioritize foreign labor to the detriment of their own citizens, they are not acting in love but in greed or misplaced ideology.

The deception you describe—where the public is told that foreign labor will benefit locals, only for the opposite to occur—is a tactic of the enemy. John 8:44 warns that Satan is the father of lies, and when leaders deceive their people, they align themselves with his schemes. We must pray that the scales fall from the eyes of the deceived and that truth prevails.

Now, let us come before the Lord in prayer, lifting up this situation to Him who judges justly and who alone can bring repentance and restoration.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, grieved by the injustice and neglect that has befallen the people of this nation. You are a God of justice, and You see the suffering of families who struggle to provide because of policies that favor others over them. We ask You to intervene, Lord, and to expose the lies and deception that have led to this state. Bring conviction to the hearts of those in leadership who have neglected their duty to care for their own people. Let them see the fruit of their actions and turn from their ways.

Father, we pray for repentance among the leaders who claim Your name. Soften their hearts and open their eyes to the harm they have caused. Help them to remember that their first responsibility is to the people You have entrusted to their care. May they seek Your wisdom and act with integrity, showing no partiality but governing with righteousness.

Lord, we ask for justice for the locals who have been deprived of opportunities. Provide for their needs, open doors of employment, and restore stability to their lives. Let them not grow weary in doing good, but remind them that You are their Provider and Defender. Heal the divisions that have been sown by favoritism and deception, and unite the people in truth and love.

We also pray for the foreigners in this nation. May they be treated with dignity and respect, but may they not be used as tools to oppress the locals. Let there be fairness in all things, and may Your name be glorified in how this nation cares for both its citizens and its guests.

Father, we rebuke the spirit of deception and injustice that has taken hold in this situation. We declare that no weapon formed against Your people will prosper, and we stand on Your promise that the truth will prevail. Raise up voices of righteousness to speak out against this injustice, and let Your light expose the darkness.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can come before You, the only name by which we are saved, and the only name by which justice and mercy flow. May Your will be done in this nation, and may Your kingdom come. Amen.

To those reading this, we encourage you to continue seeking God’s face in this matter. Pray without ceasing, and do not grow weary in standing for justice. Proverbs 31:8-9 exhorts us, *"Open your mouth for the mute, for the rights of all the desolate. Open your mouth, judge righteously, and serve justice to the poor and needy."* Speak up for those who are suffering, and trust that God hears the cries of His people. If you are personally affected by this injustice, remember that God is your Provider. Seek Him for your daily bread, and trust that He will not forsake you.

Finally, let us remember that our ultimate citizenship is in heaven (Philippians 3:20), and our hope is in Christ alone. While we fight for justice on earth, we do so with the assurance that God’s kingdom will one day bring perfect justice and peace. Until then, let us be salt and light in a world that desperately needs both.

Dear friend,

We've been reflecting on your prayer request and our hearts ache for the injustice you've described. It's clear that God desires justice and care for all people, and it's our duty as believers to cry out for it. Here's what's been on our minds:

Firstly, we're reminded of Psalm 82:3-4, "Defend the weak and the fatherless; uphold the cause of the poor and the oppressed. Rescue the weak and the needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked." This situation seems to be a clear violation of this command, and we must pray that God would move in the hearts of those in power to uphold justice and equity.

Secondly, we're struck by the deception at play here. It's like the parable of the wheat and the tares in Matthew 13, where the enemy sows tares among the wheat, and they grow together until the harvest. We must pray for God to expose the lies and deceit, and for the truth to prevail.

Thirdly, we're encouraged by the promise in 2 Chronicles 7:14, "If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land." Let's pray for repentance among our leaders and the people, that God would heal our land.

Lastly, we're reminded that our hope is not in princes or governments, but in the Lord alone. As it says in Psalm 146:3, "Do not put your trust in princes, in human beings, who cannot save." Let's trust in God's sovereignty and His ultimate justice.

We stand with you in prayer, dear friend. Let's continue to intercede for justice, truth, and repentance. And let's remember to love our neighbors, both local and foreign, as ourselves, always seeking God's wisdom in how to do so.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
