Pray for this

Dexter2020

Faithful Servant
Heavenly Father, the Sovereign over all borders and nations, We come before You with a righteous anger and a heavy spirit. Your Word says in Proverbs 22:28, "Do not move an ancient boundary stone set up by your ancestors." We recognize that a nation is not a marketplace to be traded, but a home to be guarded. Lord, we cry out against the spirit of betrayal that has treated this land like a prostitute, selling the peace, the space, and the future of its own children to the highest foreign bidder. We rebuke the leadership and the systems that have devalued the citizenship of this nation, treating those who built it as sidelined strangers in their own house while elevating foreigners to the status of kings. Father, we ask for a Holy Restoration: Restore the Priority of the Citizen: We pray that the birthright of the local people would no longer be trampled. Stop the hands of those who trade away our jobs, our housing, and our cultural identity for cheap gain or foreign favor. Expose the Devaluation: We bring into the light the "low-class" standards that have allowed our streets and our systems to be cheapened. We ask that You would convict those in power who have "sold the needy for a pair of sandals" (Amos 2:6). Establish Divine Boundaries: We ask for the strength to put a permanent block on influences that seek to erode our peace and our sovereignty. Give us the discernment to know who belongs at our table and who must be kept outside the gate. Lord, we stand against the "Sidelined" spirit. We refuse to be second-class residents in the land of our fathers. We ask that You would raise up a "Nehemiah wall" around this nation—a wall of protection that ensures the resources, the respect, and the rewards of this land go first to those who are its rightful heirs. Turn the hearts of the leaders back to their own people. If they will not repent of selling out the nation, we ask that You would remove them and replace them with those who value the sanctity of the home over the profit of the stranger. Let this nation no longer be a ground for exploitation, but a fortress for its citizens. In the mighty and authoritative name of Jesus, Amen. And there is no love where the government tries to fill this whole country with cheap foreigner to displace locals and sidelined locals until the whole country is filled of foreigner and no locals.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We hear the righteous indignation in this prayer and share the deep concern for the preservation of a nation’s sovereignty, its people, and the biblical principle of honoring boundaries set by God. The scriptures indeed affirm the importance of stewardship over what has been entrusted to us. Proverbs 22:28 warns, *"Remove not the ancient landmark, which your fathers have set,"* and Amos 2:7 condemns those who *"trample the head of the poor into the dust of the earth and turn aside the way of the afflicted."* These verses speak to the justice and order God establishes in nations and communities.

However, we must also examine this prayer through the lens of Christ’s love and the full counsel of Scripture. While it is right to stand against exploitation, corruption, and the devaluation of a people, we must guard our hearts against attitudes that could lead to partiality, fear, or a spirit of exclusion that does not reflect God’s heart for all people. The Bible tells us in Acts 17:26-27 that God *"made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the surface of the earth, having determined appointed seasons, and the boundaries of their dwellings, that they should seek the Lord, if perhaps they might reach out for him and find him."* God sets the boundaries of nations, and He also calls us to love our neighbors—whether they are native-born or strangers—as ourselves (Leviticus 19:34).

We rebuke any spirit of bitterness, fear, or division that may seek to take root in this prayer. While it is right to seek justice for the marginalized and oppressed, we must not allow our zeal to become a stumbling block to the gospel or a barrier to the love of Christ. Jesus Himself commanded us to *"love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who mistreat you"* (Luke 6:27-28). This does not mean we ignore injustice, but we must respond in a way that honors God and reflects His character.

We also want to gently address the language used in this prayer, particularly the reference to foreigners as those who "belong outside the gate." While it is true that nations have the right to establish just and orderly immigration policies, we must remember that God’s people are called to be a light to the nations (Isaiah 49:6). The early church was a diverse body that included people from many nations, and the gospel broke down the dividing walls of hostility (Ephesians 2:14). Our primary citizenship is in heaven (Philippians 3:20), and we are called to welcome the stranger, for we were once strangers ourselves (Deuteronomy 10:19).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts burdened for the nations and the people You have created. We acknowledge that You are the Sovereign Lord over all the earth, and that You establish kings and remove them according to Your will. We ask for Your wisdom and discernment for the leaders of this nation, that they would govern with justice, righteousness, and a heart for the people You have entrusted to their care.

Lord, we pray against the spirit of exploitation and corruption that seeks to devalue and marginalize any of Your children. We ask that You would expose the works of darkness and bring to light any systems or individuals who have traded the well-being of the people for personal gain. Raise up leaders who will prioritize the flourishing of their citizens and govern with integrity.

Father, we also pray for a spirit of love and compassion to prevail in this nation. Help us to see all people through Your eyes, as those created in Your image and worthy of dignity and respect. Guard our hearts against fear, bitterness, or prejudice, and help us to extend the love of Christ to all, whether native-born or foreigner. Teach us to welcome the stranger as You have commanded, while also seeking wisdom in how to steward the resources and opportunities You have given us.

We ask for a revival of godly values in this land—a return to the principles of justice, mercy, and humility (Micah 6:8). Let this nation be a place where Your name is honored, where the vulnerable are protected, and where Your people are salt and light in their communities. May the church rise up with boldness to proclaim the gospel and demonstrate Your love to all people.

We pray these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can come before You and the only name by which we can be saved. It is through His blood that we have access to Your throne, and it is by His grace that we are called to live as ambassadors of Your kingdom. May Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Amen.

We hear your cry for justice and righteousness in this land, dear brother. We stand with you in prayer, seeking God's intervention in the matters you've laid bare before Him. We've been reflecting on your words, and we're reminded of the parable of the talents in Matthew 25. Just as the master entrusted his property to his servants, God has entrusted this nation to its leaders and citizens. We must ensure that we are good stewards of this trust, using the resources and influence God has given us to build up, not tear down.

We're also reminded of Paul's words in Romans 13:1-2, "Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. Consequently, whoever rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has established, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves." We must pray for our leaders, that they would govern with wisdom, integrity, and a heart for the people. Let's intercede for them, asking God to give them the strength to stand against corruption and exploitation, and to prioritize the well-being of all citizens.

Let's also remember to pray for unity and love among the people. In 1 Peter 2:17, we're told, "Show proper respect to everyone, love the family of believers, fear God, honor the emperor." We must respect and love all people, regardless of their nationality or background. Let's pray for a spirit of unity and love to prevail in this nation, a love that reflects the heart of God for all people.

We join you in praying for God's intervention in these matters, in Jesus' mighty name. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
