Faithful Servant
Prayer request for how to I submit to your will to get a wife and let people attracted to naturally as I am looking for a wife and God is cornering all my avenues in getting married through apps and dating agency so God you said you are the provider so please teach me how to do your ways rather than my ways in getting a wife and bring her to me through divine arrangement and let me know she is the one when time comes.

We hear your heart’s longing for a godly wife, and we stand with you in seeking the Lord’s perfect will in this matter. Your desire to surrender your own efforts and trust in God’s divine arrangement is commendable, for Scripture reminds us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight"* (Proverbs 3:5-6). It is wise to recognize that human methods—even well-intentioned ones like dating apps or agencies—may not align with God’s timing or His best for you. Instead, we are called to walk by faith, not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7).

First, let us address the foundation of your pursuit: marriage is a sacred covenant designed by God, not merely a relationship to fulfill personal desires. The Lord declares, *"It is not good for the man to be alone; I will make him a helper suitable for him"* (Genesis 2:18). Yet this helper is not just any companion, but one who shares your faith and commitment to Christ. *"Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers"* (2 Corinthians 6:14) is a command, not a suggestion. If you have been pursuing connections with those who do not share your devotion to the Lord, we must rebuke that path and encourage you to seek a wife who fears God, for *"the fear of Yahweh is the beginning of wisdom"* (Proverbs 9:10).

Now, let us pray together for your surrender and discernment:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Author and Perfecter of our faith. Lord, we lift up this brother who seeks Your will above his own in the matter of marriage. Father, You know his heart’s desire for a godly wife, and we ask that You would purify that desire to align with Your perfect plan. Teach him, O Lord, to wait on You, to seek You first in all things, and to trust that You will bring the right woman into his life at the appointed time.

We rebuke the spirit of impatience and self-reliance that may tempt him to take matters into his own hands. Help him to rest in Your sovereignty, knowing that *"those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength"* (Isaiah 40:31). Lord, we ask that You would open his eyes to Your ways and close the doors that are not of You. If there are areas of his life that are not pleasing to You—whether in thought, word, or deed—reveal them to him so that he may repent and walk in holiness.

Father, we pray for the woman You have prepared for him. If she is praying for a godly husband, let their paths cross in Your perfect timing. Give him discernment to recognize her as the one You have chosen, not by worldly standards, but by the fruit of her faith and the witness of Your Spirit. Guard his heart from deception, and let him not be swayed by fleeting emotions or superficial attractions. Instead, let him seek a wife who is *"a crown to her husband"* (Proverbs 12:4), one who loves You and will walk with him in righteousness.

Lord, we also ask that You would prepare him to be the husband this woman needs. Teach him to love as Christ loves the church (Ephesians 5:25), to lead with humility, and to cherish his future wife as a gift from You. Remove any pride, selfishness, or ungodly habits that would hinder a marriage built on Your foundation.

Finally, Father, we declare that Your timing is perfect. If it is Your will for him to marry, we trust that You will bring it to pass in a way that glorifies You. If there are lessons he must learn in singleness, give him the grace to embrace this season with joy and purpose. May he find his ultimate satisfaction in You, knowing that *"delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart"* (Psalm 37:4).

We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the Name above all names, the only Name by which we are saved and through which we have access to You. Amen.

Now, brother, let us encourage you with these truths: God is not withholding good from you. If He has placed this desire in your heart, it is because He intends to fulfill it—*in His way and in His time*. The world tells you to chase after love, but the Lord says, *"Seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well"* (Matthew 6:33). This means your priority must be to grow in your relationship with Christ, to serve Him wholeheartedly, and to trust that He will bring the right woman into your life when you are both ready.

Consider this: if you are struggling with loneliness or impatience, use this season to draw nearer to God. Study His Word, pray without ceasing, and serve in your church or community. A godly wife will be drawn to a man who is already walking closely with the Lord. *"Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain, but a woman who fears Yahweh, she shall be praised"* (Proverbs 31:30). The same is true for a man—your character, faith, and devotion to Christ will attract the kind of woman you truly desire.

We must also address the importance of purity in this pursuit. If you have been entertaining lustful thoughts, engaging in sexual sin, or pursuing relationships that do not honor God, repent and turn away from those things. *"Flee sexual immorality! ‘Every sin that a man does is outside the body,’ but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body"* (1 Corinthians 6:18). The Lord calls us to holiness, and a marriage built on impurity will not stand. Instead, let your life be a testimony of your faith, so that when the right woman comes, she will see a man who is worthy of her respect and love.

Lastly, remember that marriage is not the ultimate goal—glorifying God is. Whether single or married, your purpose is to live for Christ. If you make marriage your idol, you will be disappointed, for no earthly relationship can satisfy the way Jesus can. But if you seek Him first, He will add all these things to you (Matthew 6:33).

We stand with you in faith, trusting that the Lord will guide your steps and bring you the wife He has prepared for you. Keep your heart open, your spirit sensitive to His leading, and your life aligned with His Word. The right woman will come, and when she does, you will know—*not by the world’s standards, but by the peace and confirmation of the Holy Spirit.* Until then, walk in faith, and let God’s will be done.

We're right there with you, brother, in this journey towards finding a godly wife. It's natural to feel eager and even impatient, but remember, God's timing is always perfect. Let's focus on the heart of the matter - God's desire for us is not just to be married, but to be united with someone who fears Him, just as you do.

First, let's pray together. Heavenly Father, we come before you in Jesus' name. We lift up our brother who seeks your will above his own in the matter of marriage. Lord, you know his heart's desire for a godly wife. Help him to wait on you, to seek you first in all things, and to trust that you will bring the right woman into his life at the right time. Give him the grace to rest in your sovereignty, knowing that those who wait on you will renew their strength.

We also ask, Lord, that you would open his eyes to your ways and close the doors that are not of you. Help him to recognize the woman you have prepared for him, not by worldly standards, but by the fruit of her faith and the witness of your Spirit. Guard his heart from deception and let him not be swayed by fleeting emotions or superficial attractions. Instead, let him seek a wife who is a crown to her husband, one who loves you and will walk with him in righteousness.

We pray all these things in Jesus' name, amen.

Now, brother, let's encourage each other with these truths. God is not withholding good from you. If He has placed this desire in your heart, it's because He intends to fulfill it, in His way and in His time. Your priority must be to grow in your relationship with Christ, to serve Him wholeheartedly, and to trust that He will bring the right woman into your life when you're both ready.

Use this season to draw near to God. Study His Word, pray without ceasing, and serve in your church or community. A godly wife will be drawn to a man who is already walking closely with the Lord. And remember, marriage is not the ultimate goal - glorifying God is. Whether single or married, your purpose is to live for Christ.

Keep your heart open, your spirit sensitive to His leading, and your life aligned with His Word. The right woman will come, and when she does, you will know, not by the world's standards, but by the peace and confirmation of the Holy Spirit. Until then, walk in faith, and let God's will be done.
