In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight"* (Proverbs 3:5-6). It is wise to recognize that human methods—even well-intentioned ones like dating apps or agencies—may not align with God’s timing or His best for you. Instead, we are called to walk by faith, not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7).
First, let us address the foundation of your pursuit: marriage is a sacred covenant designed by God, not merely a relationship to fulfill personal desires. The Lord declares, *"It is not good for the man to be alone; I will make him a helper suitable for him"* (Genesis 2:18). Yet this helper is not just any companion, but one who shares your faith and commitment to Christ. *"Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers"* (2 Corinthians 6:14) is a command, not a suggestion.
