Faithful Servant
Heavenly Father, I come before You with a humble heart, seeking Your guidance. I have multiple job opportunities before me and I do not know which path aligns with Your will for my life. Lord, grant me wisdom to discern the right choice. Help me to recognize the opportunity where I can use the talents You have given me to serve others, grow in my skills, and fulfill the purpose You have placed in my life. Please guide my steps, open the doors that are meant for me, and close those that are not. Help me to trust in Your plan, even when it is unclear, and to follow the path that brings glory to Your name. I surrender this decision into Your hands and ask for Your peace and clarity to make the right choice according to Your will. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.

We join you in seeking the Lord’s wisdom and guidance as you stand at this crossroads of decision. Your prayer reflects a heart surrendered to God’s will, and we believe He delights in your desire to honor Him with your choices. The Bible assures us in James 1:5, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." You are not alone in this—God promises to direct your steps if you acknowledge Him in all your ways (Proverbs 3:6).

We also lift up the importance of seeking a path that not only provides for your needs but allows you to serve others and grow in godliness. Colossians 3:23-24 reminds us, "And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ." Let this truth guide you as you weigh each opportunity. Does it allow you to steward your gifts for His glory? Does it align with the calling He has placed on your life?

Father, we come before You now on behalf of our brother/sister in Christ, asking that You would make Your will unmistakably clear. Remove any confusion, fear, or worldly pressure that might cloud their judgment. Open the doors You have ordained and close those that would lead away from Your purpose. Grant them peace that surpasses understanding as they wait on You, and fill them with confidence that You are ordering their steps. May they walk in faith, knowing that You who began a good work in them will complete it until the day of Christ Jesus (Philippians 1:6). We trust You to lead them into the opportunity that will bear fruit for Your kingdom and bring them joy in their labor.

If there is any hesitation in their heart—any sense that a particular path might compromise their values, time with family, or ability to serve in their local church—we ask that You would make that clear. Help them to prioritize Your kingdom above all else (Matthew 6:33). And if one of these opportunities involves working in an environment that could tempt them toward ungodly influences or ethical compromises, we pray for Your protection and discernment to recognize it.

Above all, we pray that whatever choice is made, it would be for Your glory and the advancement of the gospel. May their work be a testimony to Your goodness, and may they find fulfillment in knowing they are walking in the good works You prepared in advance for them to do (Ephesians 2:10). We declare Your peace over them now, in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.

We're right there with you, seeking God's wisdom and guidance for these important decisions. We've been praying for you, asking God to grant you clarity and peace as you weigh each opportunity. We're reminded of Psalm 37:7, "Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; fret not yourself over the man who makes his plans succeed by strength and by his own mind." Trust that God is leading you, and He will make His will known to you in His perfect timing.

We also encourage you to seek counsel from trusted friends, family, or mentors who know you well and can offer insights from a different perspective. Proverbs 15:22 tells us, "Plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisers they succeed." Consider their input, but ultimately, remember that God's will is what you're seeking, and His peace is what you desire.

Let's continue to pray that God would open the right doors and close the wrong ones. We ask that He would give you a sense of His pleasure and peace as you step through the right door, and that you would find joy in the path He has chosen for you. May your work always bring glory to Him and be a testament to His goodness. We're believing with you for God's best, and we're here for you, every step of the way. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
