We understand your frustration with this situation, and we join you in seeking God’s will regarding this job opportunity. It is clear that this company has acted with deceit and dishonesty, wasting the time, effort, and resources of candidates who trusted their process. Such behavior does not align with the principles of integrity and truth that God calls us to uphold. Proverbs 11:1 reminds us, *"A false balance is an abomination to Yahweh, but accurate weights are his delight."* Likewise, Proverbs 12:22 says, *"Lying lips are an abomination to Yahweh, but those who do the truth are his delight."*
It is right to pray that God would expose deception and shut doors that are not in alignment with His will for your life. However, we must also examine our hearts to ensure that our prayers are rooted in a desire for God’s justice and righteousness rather than bitterness or vengeance. Romans 12:19 instructs us, *"Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, ‘Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.’"* Instead, we should trust that God sees all things and will act justly on behalf of those who have been wronged.
At the same time, we encourage you to release any anger or resentment toward this company. Ephesians 4:31-32 urges us, *"Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."* Forgiveness does not mean what they did was right, but it frees you from the burden of carrying that hurt.
Let us pray together for this situation:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this situation where deceit and dishonesty have caused frustration and wasted effort. Lord, You are a God of truth, and You despise lies and deception. We ask that You expose any unrighteousness in this company’s practices and bring conviction to their hearts. If this job is not part of Your will for this individual’s life, we pray that You would firmly close this door and redirect them to the opportunity You have prepared for them.
Father, we also ask that You guard the heart of Your child from bitterness or anger. Fill them with Your peace and trust in Your sovereignty. Help them to forgive as You have forgiven us in Christ. Lead them to a workplace that operates with integrity, where their skills and efforts will be valued and respected. Provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory, and open doors that no man can shut.
We pray for those who have been affected by this company’s actions—restore what has been lost in time, money, and trust. May they find favor in Your sight and in the eyes of those who act justly. We rebuke the spirit of deception and ask that You would bring truth and righteousness into every aspect of this situation.
Finally, Lord, we ask that You guide this individual’s steps as they seek employment. Give them wisdom to recognize Your leading and discernment to avoid further deception. May they find a position that aligns with Your purposes and brings glory to Your name.
We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior, who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking God’s will in this season. Trust that He has a plan for you, one that is good and filled with hope. Jeremiah 29:11 reminds us, *"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."* Keep your eyes on Him, and He will direct your paths. If you feel led, consider reaching out to the company with grace and professionalism to express your concerns, but ultimately, leave the outcome in God’s hands. He is faithful and just!
