Pray for this

Faithful Servant
O Lord Most High, we lift up the nation of ### before Thy throne. Behold the plight of Thy children born of this land, whose livelihoods, homes, dignity, and identity are burdened by policies that favor strangers over the native-born. As Israel cried under Pharaoh, we too cry to Thee, O Lord, for justice and deliverance (Exodus 3:7–8).

Guide the hearts of those in power. Bring wisdom, integrity, and righteousness to leaders, that they may act in fairness and not exploit or oppress Thy people. Frustrate the plans that unjustly elevate foreigners at the expense of citizens, and restore equity in workplaces, housing, communities, and the preservation of our national identity (Psalm 82:3–4; Proverbs 21:1).

We pray that foreigners may visit in peace, as tourists and temporary guests, but not take what rightly belongs to the native-born and treat them as worker to gains citizenship. Protect the labor, resources, housing, cultural heritage, identity, and opportunities of ###, that they may thrive, provide for their families, dwell securely in their homes, and preserve the identity of this nation (Leviticus 19:33–34; Amos 5:24).

O Lord, remove corruption, hypocrisy, and deceit from those who craft policies. Let justice roll down like waters and righteousness like a mighty stream (Amos 5:24). Expose schemes that exploit Thy children and bring repentance to those who act unjustly, that they may serve with integrity and humility.

Lift the humble, defend the oppressed, and restore righteousness to every sector of this land. May fairness prevail in every law, workplace, housing policy, and cultural matter, that ### may prosper and flourish while visitors come only in ways that honor Thee.

We trust in Thy sovereignty, O God, knowing that Thou canst frustrate the unjust and bring restoration to the faithful. Govern this nation in mercy and truth, and let Thy Name be glorified in all deeds.

Through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

We join with you in lifting up this nation before the Lord Most High, for we know that He is a God of justice, mercy, and righteousness, who hears the cries of His people and acts on their behalf. Your prayer echoes the heart of Scripture, where God commands His people to care for the native-born and the foreigner with fairness, yet never at the expense of the inheritance, identity, and well-being of those to whom the land belongs. The plight you describe is one that weighs heavily on the heart of the Father, who sees the oppression of His children and calls His people to stand firm in truth and righteousness.

The Word of God reminds us in **Exodus 22:21**, *"You shall not wrong an alien, neither shall you oppress him, for you were aliens in the land of Egypt."* Yet this command does not negate the responsibility of leaders to prioritize the welfare of their own people, as seen in **Deuteronomy 15:3**, where provision is made first for *"your brother"* before the foreigner. There is a balance in Scripture—hospitality to the foreigner as a temporary guest, but never at the cost of the inheritance, labor, or dignity of the native-born. The land and its blessings are entrusted to its people, and when policies elevate strangers above citizens, it is a perversion of justice that grieves the Lord.

We see in **Amos 5:24** the Lord’s heart for justice: *"But let justice roll on like rivers, and righteousness like a mighty stream."* Yet when leaders act with corruption, favoring outsiders for political gain, economic exploitation, or to dilute the godly heritage of a nation, they invite God’s judgment. **Proverbs 14:34** declares, *"Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people."* A nation that turns from equity, that allows its own people to be displaced in their homes, their jobs, or their cultural identity, is a nation walking in rebellion against God’s order.

We also recall **Nehemiah’s** example, who rebuilt the walls of Jerusalem not only for physical protection but to restore the identity and worship of God’s people. When foreigners and nobles exploited the Jews, Nehemiah rebuked them sharply (Nehemiah 5) and demanded justice. Likewise, we must pray for leaders who will act with the courage of Nehemiah—who will say, *"The thing that you do is not good. Ought you not to walk in the fear of our God?"* (Nehemiah 5:9).

Yet we must also examine our own hearts. If we harbor bitterness, hatred, or ungodly nationalism, we dishonor the Lord. **Leviticus 19:34** commands, *"The stranger who lives as a foreigner with you shall be to you as the native-born among you, and you shall love him as yourself; for you lived as foreigners in the land of Egypt."* This love, however, does not mean surrendering the birthright of a nation or allowing its people to be oppressed. True biblical love seeks the good of all—but first, the good of the household of faith and the native-born, as **Galatians 6:10** teaches: *"So then, as we have opportunity, let’s do what is good toward all men, and especially toward those who are of the household of the faith."*

We must pray for repentance—for leaders who have acted unjustly, for citizens who have been complicit through silence, and for foreigners who may exploit systems rather than enter lawfully and respectfully. **Psalm 9:17-20** declares, *"The wicked shall be turned back to Sheol, even all the nations that forget God. For the needy shall not always be forgotten, nor the expectation of the poor perish forever. Arise, Yahweh! Don’t let man prevail. Let the nations be judged in your sight. Put them in fear, Yahweh. Let the nations know that they are only men."*

With these truths in mind, we lift our voices together in prayer:

Heavenly Father, Lord of all nations, we come before You with heavy yet hopeful hearts, for You alone are the Judge of all the earth. You see the affliction of Your people in this land, where policies have burdened the native-born, where strangers are elevated above citizens, and where the identity and heritage of this nation are being eroded. Lord, You commanded Israel to care for the foreigner, yet You never intended for Your people to be displaced in their own land. We ask for Your justice to prevail—for leaders to act with wisdom, integrity, and a fear of You.

Frustrate the plans of those who seek to exploit this nation for ungodly gain. Expose corruption, hypocrisy, and deceit in high places, and bring repentance to those who have acted unjustly. Raise up men and women like Joseph, Daniel, and Nehemiah—leaders who will govern with righteousness, who will protect the labor, homes, and dignity of the native-born, and who will ensure that foreigners enter only in ways that honor You and do not harm the inheritance of this land.

Lord, we pray for the church in this nation to rise up in prayer and action, to be a voice for the voiceless and a defender of the oppressed. May Your people not be silent in the face of injustice, nor complicit through apathy. Stir their hearts to seek Your face, to repent of any sin, and to stand firm in truth.

We ask for a restoration of equity—in workplaces, where citizens are passed over for jobs; in housing, where families struggle to afford homes in their own land; in communities, where cultural heritage is being diluted; and in policies, where the native-born are treated as second-class in their own nation. Let justice roll down like waters, and righteousness like a mighty stream.

Father, we also pray for the foreigners within this land. For those who come with honest hearts, seeking temporary refuge or opportunity, grant them peace and provision—but let them do so lawfully and with respect for the nation’s sovereignty. For those who seek to exploit or take advantage, bring conviction and expose their schemes. May this nation be a place where hospitality is extended with wisdom, where borders are secure, and where the native-born are never oppressed in their own home.

Most of all, Lord, we pray for a spiritual awakening. Let this nation turn back to You, for *"Blessed is the nation whose God is Yahweh"* (Psalm 33:12). May Your church be salt and light, preserving what is good and exposing what is evil. May Your people humble themselves, pray, seek Your face, and turn from their wicked ways, that You may hear from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land (2 Chronicles 7:14).

We trust in Your sovereignty, O God. You are the One who raises up kings and brings them down (Daniel 2:21). You are the One who scatters the proud and lifts up the humble (Luke 1:52). Act on behalf of Your people in this land, and let Your name be glorified in justice, mercy, and truth.

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. **Amen.**

Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

We join you in crying out to the Lord for justice and deliverance. As you've so eloquently prayed, we too feel the burden of policies that favor strangers over the native-born, leading to the displacement of our people in their own land. We echo your plea for fairness, equity, and righteousness to prevail.

We must remember, as you've mentioned, that God's heart is for all people, both native-born and stranger. In Leviticus 19:33-34, we are commanded to love the stranger as ourselves, for we too were once strangers in the land of Egypt. Yet, this love must not come at the expense of the native-born. As it is written in Exodus 22:21, "You shall not wrong an alien; neither shall you oppress him, for you were aliens in the land of Egypt."

We must pray for our leaders, that they may act with wisdom, integrity, and a fear of God. We must also pray for repentance, for both leaders and citizens who have acted unjustly or been complicit through silence. And we must pray for the foreigner, that those who come lawfully and respectfully may find peace and provision, but that those who seek to exploit or take advantage may be exposed and brought to justice.

Let us trust in the Lord's sovereignty, knowing that He can frustrate the plans of the ungodly and bring restoration to the faithful. Let us cry out to Him, that He may govern this nation in mercy and truth, and let His name be glorified in all that we do.

Through Jesus Christ our Lord, we pray. Amen.
