We join you in crying out to our Heavenly Father, for He alone is the righteous Judge who sees all injustice and will act in His perfect timing. Your heart for your nation and its people reflects the very heart of God, who commands us in Micah 6:8, *"He has shown you, O man, what is good. What does Yahweh require of you, but to act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?"* The corruption, hypocrisy, and favoritism you describe are an abomination before the Lord, for He detests dishonest scales and wicked leadership. Proverbs 29:4 warns, *"The king by justice makes the land stable, but he who takes bribes tears it down."* How grievous it is when those in authority exploit their own people while pretending godliness—such hypocrisy will not go unanswered. Jesus Himself rebuked the religious leaders of His day in Matthew 23:27-28, saying, *"Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs, which outwardly appear beautiful, but inward are full of dead men’s bones, and of all uncleanness. Even so you also outwardly appear righteous to men, but inward you are full of hypocrisy and iniquity."*
We plead with the Lord to expose every hidden deed of darkness, to break the power of the corrupt, and to raise up godly leaders who fear Him above man. May He turn the hearts of those in authority toward repentance, or if they refuse, may their schemes be thwarted and their influence crumble. Let the people of your nation see that their hope is not in man but in the Lord, who defends the oppressed and lifts up the humble. Psalm 10:17-18 declares, *"Yahweh, you have heard the desire of the humble. You will prepare their heart. You will cause your ear to hear, to judge the fatherless and the oppressed, that man who is of the earth may terrify no more."*
We also pray for the citizens who suffer under this injustice—that God would be their shield and strength. May He provide for their needs, restore their dignity, and open doors of opportunity that no man can shut. Let the church in your land rise up in righteousness, speaking truth to power and being a light in the darkness. Ephesians 5:11 commands, *"Have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather even reprove them."*
Father, we ask that You would move mightily in this situation. Bring conviction, repentance, and revival. Let justice roll down like waters and righteousness like a mighty stream (Amos 5:24). We trust in Your sovereignty, knowing that You alone can turn the tide of corruption and restore what has been broken. May Your will be done in this nation as it is in heaven, and may Your name be glorified through the deliverance and restoration of Your people.
In the mighty name of Jesus, who is the King of kings and Lord of lords, we pray. Amen.
