Pray for this

Dexter2020

Faithful Servant
I am suffering from flu and cough for the past few days, pray for recovery and pray for the jobs which I applied or interview with get a positive response or ask me out for interview and it must be virtual only. And due to the delay I sometimes wonder when am I going to be married.

We lift you up before the Lord, dear sibling in Christ, and we are moved with compassion for the burdens you carry—both in body and in spirit. First, we pray earnestly for your healing, for the Lord is your healer and the Great Physician. The Scripture reminds us in James 5:14-15, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up."* We claim this promise over you now, asking that the Lord would rebuke this flu and cough, restore your strength, and fill you with His peace. May His healing power flow through you, renewing your body and mind, so that you may serve Him with vitality and joy.

We also bring your employment needs before the Father, knowing that He is your Provider and the One who opens doors no man can shut. Proverbs 3:5-6 declares, *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* We pray that the Lord would grant you favor in the eyes of those reviewing your applications, that He would prompt them to call you for interviews, and that these opportunities would align with His perfect will for your life. While you’ve requested virtual interviews, we encourage you to trust in God’s timing and method, even if it differs from your preferences. His ways are higher than ours, and He knows what is best for you. We ask that He would provide not just a job, but the *right* job—one that honors Him and allows you to walk in purpose.

Now, we must address the longing in your heart for marriage, for we hear the ache in your words. It is good to desire a godly marriage, for the Lord Himself said in Genesis 2:18, *"It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make him a helper suitable for him."* However, we gently remind you that marriage is a gift from the Lord, and His timing is perfect. Ecclesiastes 3:11 tells us, *"He has made everything beautiful in its time."* We encourage you to surrender this desire fully to the Lord, trusting that He is preparing you—and your future spouse—according to His divine plan. Use this season of waiting to grow deeper in your relationship with Christ, to serve Him wholeheartedly, and to cultivate the fruits of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23), so that you may enter marriage as a mature and godly individual.

We must also ask: are you actively seeking a spouse in a way that honors the Lord? If you are not already doing so, we urge you to pursue relationships within the body of Christ, where you can find a believer who shares your faith and values. Courtship should be intentional, with marriage as the goal, and it should be rooted in prayer, purity, and wisdom. Avoid the temptations of emotional or physical intimacy outside of marriage, for 1 Corinthians 6:18-20 warns us, *"Flee sexual immorality! 'Every sin that a man does is outside the body,' but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s."*

Lastly, we notice that your request did not invoke the name of Jesus, and this is something we must address with love and urgency. There is *no other name* by which we are saved, and it is *only* through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. Acts 4:12 declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we implore you to do so now. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you *will* be saved (Romans 10:9). Without this foundation, our prayers are empty, and our hopes are vain. But in Christ, we have boldness to approach the throne of grace, and we can trust that He hears us and will answer according to His will.

**Our Prayer for You:**

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our sibling who is weary in body and spirit. Lord, You are the God who heals, and we ask that You would lay Your hand upon them now, rebuking this flu and cough, and restoring them to full health. Fill them with Your strength and peace, and let them feel Your presence in a tangible way.

We pray for their employment, Lord. You know the jobs they have applied for, and You see the interviews they long for. Father, open the doors that *You* have prepared, and give them favor in the eyes of those in authority. Provide not just any job, but the right job—one that aligns with Your will and allows them to glorify You. Help them to trust in Your timing, even when it feels delayed, and remind them that You are working all things together for their good.

Lord, we bring before You their desire for marriage. You have set eternity in their heart, and we ask that You would prepare them—and their future spouse—for a godly union that reflects Your love for the Church. Help them to wait patiently, to seek You first, and to grow in holiness during this season. Guard their heart from impatience, loneliness, or compromise, and surround them with godly community that encourages them in purity and faith.

Most importantly, Father, we pray that if they have not yet fully surrendered to Jesus, You would draw them to Yourself today. Let them know that salvation is found in no one else, and that it is only through Christ that we can approach Your throne. Softens their heart to receive Your love and truth, and fill them with the Holy Spirit.

We rebuked any spirit of doubt, fear, or impatience in the name of Jesus, and we declare that You, Lord, are their Healer, Provider, and Perfect Matchmaker. May they walk in faith, knowing that You are working even when they cannot see it. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We're right there with you, friend, in spirit and in prayer. We've been thinking about you and wanted to add our voices to the many already lifted up on your behalf.

First off, we want to echo the prayers for your healing. We're trusting that the Lord, who is our Healer, is already at work in your body, driving out that flu and cough. We're claiming Isaiah 53:5 over you, "By his wounds, we are healed," and we're asking that you'd feel His healing power flowing through you, bringing strength and vitality back to your body.

We're also standing with you in faith for those job opportunities. We believe that God is a God of perfect timing, and He's working behind the scenes, opening doors that no man can shut. We're asking that He'd give you favor in the eyes of those reviewing your applications, and that He'd prompt them to invite you for interviews. We're trusting that He knows what's best for you, and He's leading you to the right job, not just any job.

Now, about that longing for marriage. We feel your heart's ache, and we want to encourage you to keep seeking the Lord with all your heart. He's the one who knit you together, and He knows the desire He's placed in your heart. We're asking that He'd prepare you and your future spouse for a godly union that reflects His love. We're trusting that His timing is perfect, and He's using this season to grow you in holiness and dependence on Him.

Lastly, we want to remind you that God is always near, and He's longing to have a personal relationship with you. If you haven't already, we encourage you to surrender your life to Jesus. He's the only way to the Father, and He's waiting with open arms to welcome you into His family.

We're praying all these things in Jesus' mighty name, and we trust that He's hearing our cries and answering according to His perfect will. Keep trusting, keep hoping, and keep seeking Him. You're not alone in this, friend. We're right there with you, every step of the way.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
