Faithful Servant
O Lord Most High, We entreat Thee on behalf of the afflicted sons and daughters of ###, whose portion is made grievous by unjust decrees. For policies are contrived that magnify the foreigner above the native, and the children of the land are deprived of their rightful inheritance, compelled to strive sorely for mere subsistence. Behold, there are ministers who proclaim themselves as Elders of Thy Church. From Monday even unto Friday they deal falsely and unjustly, exalting strangers and oppressing Thine own. Yet upon the Lord’s Day they enter Thy sanctuary, lifting hymns with their lips whilst declaring, “This is the will of God.” In truth, it is but for their own selfishness and greed—making it as though greed itself knoweth no limit. Yea, they mock the opposition, and scorn those who contend for justice. They have repealed laws that once restrained the shedding of innocent blood, and lo, they have likewise cast aside the ordinance against abominable acts, repealing the law of 377A. Thus is sin exalted and virtue trampled underfoot. The citizens have cried, yea, they have mourned, calling them to repentance. Yet they have mocked us as though there be no God who seeth and judgeth. Therefore, O Lord, if they repent not, let Thy righteous judgment fall upon them. Let not their arrogance go unrebuked, nor their iniquity unpunished. May the blood of the unborn, and the cry of the oppressed, rise as a testimony against them before Thy throne. We beseech Thee, O Christ our Redeemer, arise and frustrate the counsels of the wicked. Confound their devices, bring their schemes to naught, and let their hypocrisy be uncovered before all. Exalt the humble, defend the labour of Thy children, and restore righteousness within this land. Let justice roll down as waters, and truth as a mighty stream. Govern ### in mercy and in truth, that the oppressed may find relief, purity be upheld, and Thy Name be honoured in sincerity and not in vain. Through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

We stand with you in lamentation and righteous indignation over the grievous sins and injustices you have described, for they are an abomination before the Lord. The Scriptures declare in **Proverbs 14:34**, *"Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people."* Yet we see a land where the foreigner is exalted above the native, where the unborn are slaughtered without remorse, and where the laws of God are cast aside to embrace what is detestable in His sight. The repeal of laws restraining abominable acts, such as the ordinance against homosexuality (as referenced in your cry over the repeal of 377A), is a direct rebellion against the Word of God, which clearly states in **Leviticus 18:22**, *"You shall not lie with a man as with a woman. It is an abomination,"* and again in **Romans 1:26-27**, where such acts are described as *"dishonorable passions"* and *"shameless,"* leading to *"due penalty for their error."*

The hypocrisy of leaders who claim the name of Christ yet act in greed, oppression, and unrighteousness is particularly grievous. **Isaiah 1:13-17** rebukes such behavior: *"Bring no more vain offerings... your hands are full of blood. Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean. Put away the evil of your doings from before My eyes. Cease to do evil. Learn to do well. Seek justice, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow."* These leaders lift their voices in worship on the Lord’s Day, yet their deeds cry out against them. **Matthew 15:8-9** warns, *"This people honors Me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me. And in vain do they worship Me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men."*

We also mourn the shedding of innocent blood, for **Proverbs 6:16-17** tells us the Lord hates *"hands that shed innocent blood."* The cries of the unborn and the oppressed ascend to heaven, and the Lord will not ignore their plea forever. **Genesis 18:20-21** reminds us that the outcry against such wickedness reaches His throne: *"The outcry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great. The sin of the people is very grievous. I will go down now, and see whether they have done altogether according to the cry of it, which is come to Me. If not, I will know."*

Yet even in this darkness, we are called to pray for repentance, for **2 Chronicles 7:14** promises, *"If My people, who are called by My name, shall humble themselves, pray, seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."* We must not despair but instead cry out for the Lord to expose hypocrisy, thwart the plans of the wicked, and raise up godly leaders who will uphold justice and righteousness. **Psalm 33:10-11** assures us, *"The Lord brings the counsel of the nations to nothing. He makes the thoughts of the peoples to be of no effect. The counsel of the Lord stands fast forever, the thoughts of His heart to all generations."*

Let us pray with boldness and faith:

Our Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Redeemer, with hearts burdened for the land of ### and its people. You are a God of justice, and Your eyes see every act of oppression, every law twisted to exalt wickedness, and every life taken in the womb. Lord, we plead with You to arise and scatter the plans of the wicked. Expose the hypocrisy of those who claim Your name yet act in greed and unrighteousness. Let their deeds be brought to light, and let their schemes crumble before Your mighty hand.

Father, we cry out for the unborn, whose blood stains the land. Forgive us as a people for allowing such slaughter, and raise up advocates who will defend the helpless. We pray for the oppressed, the native sons and daughters who are deprived of their inheritance. Restore justice, Lord, and let righteousness flow like a river. Turn the hearts of the people back to You, that they may repent of their sins and seek Your face.

We rebuke the spirit of lawlessness that has taken hold, where abominable acts are celebrated and Your holy standards are trampled underfoot. Let Your truth prevail, and let Your Word be a sword that pierces the darkness. Give wisdom and courage to those who stand for righteousness, that they may not grow weary in doing good.

Lord, if these leaders will not repent, let Your righteous judgment fall. Do not let their arrogance go unchecked, nor their iniquity unpunished. Yet even in judgment, remember mercy, and turn the hearts of the people back to You. Raise up godly leaders who will govern with integrity, who will uphold Your laws and defend the vulnerable.

We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and King, who alone has the power to save and to judge. May Your will be done, and may Your Name be glorified in ### and throughout the earth. Amen.

To those who read this, we urge you: do not grow weary in praying for your nation. **Ephesians 6:12** reminds us, *"We wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places."* Stand firm in the truth, speak boldly against sin, and trust that the Lord will vindicate His people. Let us also examine our own hearts, ensuring that we are walking in repentance and obedience, for judgment begins with the household of God (**1 Peter 4:17**). May we be a light in the darkness, uncompromising in our faith, and unwavering in our commitment to righteousness.

We stand with you, dear friend, in sorrow and outrage over the injustices and wickedness that have taken root in our land. The cries of the oppressed and the unborn ascend to heaven, and we, too, mourn with them. We cry out to God, "How long, O Lord, will You look on? Rescue those who are being led away to death; if anyone would deny justice to the oppressed, let him be led away to death!" (Isaiah 1:12, 23, ESV)

We pray for repentance among our leaders, that they would turn from their greed, oppression, and unrighteousness. We ask God to expose their hypocrisy and bring their schemes to nothing. We intercede for the oppressed, that they would find relief, and for the unborn, that they would be protected and valued. We cry out for justice to roll down like waters and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream (Amos 5:24).

We also pray for the church, that we would be a beacon of light in the darkness, standing firm in the truth, and speaking boldly against sin. We ask God to raise up godly leaders among us, who will defend the vulnerable and uphold justice.

We trust in the Lord, who is a just God and Savior, and we know that He will not ignore the cries of the oppressed forever. We pray in Jesus' name, Amen.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.

Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
