Humble Servant of All
All the foreigners are prospering in ###, but locals are suffering in ### especially in the job market under this current government and their discriminatory practices set up by the government to hurt and harm the people of ### and locals find themselves in contract and gig jobs while foreigners find themselves in full time permanent jobs with all the benefits due to the government unfair policies and that is the result of wicked government.

We lift up this heavy burden before the Lord, knowing that He is sovereign over all nations, governments, and the affairs of men. The injustice and suffering you describe grieve the heart of God, for He is a God of righteousness who commands fairness and compassion for all people, especially the vulnerable and oppressed. The Scriptures remind us in **Proverbs 14:31**, *"He who oppresses the poor shows contempt for his Maker, but he who is kind to the needy honors him."* And again in **Proverbs 29:4**, *"The king by justice makes the land stable, but he who takes bribes tears it down."*

It is clear that the policies and practices you describe are rooted in wickedness, favoritism, and a lack of fear of the Lord. Such corruption is an abomination to God, who calls leaders to act with integrity and justice. **Deuteronomy 10:17-18** declares, *"For Yahweh your God, he is God of gods and Lord of lords, the great God, the mighty, and the awesome, who doesn’t respect persons nor takes reward. He executes justice for the fatherless and widow, and loves the foreigner, in giving him food and clothing."* Notice here that while God cares for the foreigner, He also commands justice for *all*—not at the expense of the local people who are being marginalized. The government’s actions are in direct opposition to His heart, and we must cry out against such evil.

We also recall the words of **Isaiah 10:1-2**, which say, *"Woe to those who decree unrighteous decrees, and to the writers who write oppressive laws; to deprive the needy of justice, and to rob the poor among my people of their rights, that widows may be their plunder, and that they may make the fatherless their prey!"* This is a stark warning to those in authority who exploit their power to harm rather than serve. The Lord sees these injustices, and He will not remain silent forever. His justice *will* prevail, though it may tarry for a season.

Yet even in this suffering, we are called to trust in the Lord’s provision and timing. **Psalm 37:5-7** encourages us, *"Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will bring out your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noon day sun. Rest in Yahweh, and wait patiently for him."* This does not mean passive acceptance of evil, but rather a steadfast faith that God will act while we continue to seek justice through righteous means—prayer, wise advocacy, and trusting in His sovereignty.

We must also examine our own hearts in this matter. Bitterness, resentment, or hatred toward foreigners—even in the face of injustice—is not the way of Christ. **Leviticus 19:33-34** commands, *"If a stranger lives as a foreigner with you in your land, you shall not do him wrong. The stranger who lives as a foreigner with you shall be to you as the native-born among you, and you shall love him as yourself; for you lived as foreigners in the land of Egypt. I am Yahweh your God."* Our struggle is not against people, but against the spiritual forces of wickedness that drive these unjust systems (**Ephesians 6:12**). Let us pray for the salvation of those in authority, that their hearts may turn to God’s wisdom and repent of their corrupt ways.

Finally, we urge you to remain hopeful and proactive. Seek God’s guidance in how you can be a light in this darkness—whether through supporting one another in the local community, pursuing righteousness in your own work, or lifting up this nation in persistent prayer. Remember the words of **Jeremiah 29:7**, *"Seek the peace of the city where I have caused you to be carried away captive, and pray to Yahweh for it; for in its peace you will have peace."* Even in hardship, we are called to be agents of God’s kingdom, trusting that He will vindicate the oppressed in His perfect time.

**Our Prayer:**

Heavenly Father, we come before You with broken hearts, lifting up the cry of Your people who are suffering under unjust and discriminatory policies. Lord, You are a God of justice, and Your eyes see the affliction of Your children. We ask that You expose the wickedness in high places and bring conviction to the hearts of those who craft laws that harm the vulnerable. Turn their hearts to repentance, or remove them from power if they refuse to heed Your voice.

Comfort those who are struggling, Lord—those trapped in unstable jobs, those passed over for opportunities, and those who feel forgotten. Provide for their needs, open doors no man can shut, and remind them that their worth is not found in their employment status but in their identity as Your beloved. Give them wisdom to navigate these challenges and unity to stand together in faith.

We rebuke the spirit of corruption, favoritism, and oppression that has taken hold in this land. By the authority of Jesus Christ, we declare that no weapon formed against Your people shall prosper (**Isaiah 54:17**). Raise up godly leaders who will govern with integrity and restore fairness to the job market and every area of society.

Lord, we also pray for the foreigners in this land—that they, too, may come to know Your love and justice. May they not be complicit in systems of injustice but instead be instruments of Your peace. Let Your church rise up as a beacon of hope, offering practical help and spiritual encouragement to those who are suffering.

Most of all, Father, we ask that Your kingdom come and Your will be done in this nation. Break the yoke of oppression, and let righteousness flow like a river (**Amos 5:24**). We trust in You, our Provider and Deliverer, and we wait expectantly for Your salvation.

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. **Amen.**

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
