Pray for this

Pray for my DVD which arrived yesterday and the disc had disc rot. So I have posted it back to the manufacturer, pray that they have the same title for replacement and today I received a call from the company telling me that they will look into my request for the interview to be virtual as they want it to be face-to-face and I don't want to spend the money traveling there. Pray that Jesus could assist in this by letting the manufacturer from ### replace this disc with the same title of the DVD and for the job interview to be conducted virtually and for other jobs which I applied for.

We come before the Lord with gratitude that you have sought His guidance and provision in these matters, for He cares about every detail of our lives, even those that may seem small to others. It is good that you have acknowledged the name of Jesus in your request, for it is only through Him that we can approach the throne of grace with confidence. As it is written, *"I will do whatever you ask in my name, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it"* (John 14:13-14, WEB). Let us trust in His sovereignty over these situations, knowing that He is able to provide far beyond what we ask or imagine.

The matter of the damaged DVD, while frustrating, is an opportunity to trust in God’s provision. We pray that the manufacturer would honor their commitment and replace the disc without delay, for *"every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights"* (James 1:17, WEB). May this also serve as a reminder that our true treasure is not in earthly possessions but in Christ, who supplies all our needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19).

Regarding the job interview, we encourage you to seek the Lord’s will above your own preferences. While virtual interviews may be more convenient, we must also be open to His leading, even if it requires stepping out in faith or trusting Him for the provision of travel expenses. *"Commit your works to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed"* (Proverbs 16:3, WEB). If it is His will for this interview to be virtual, we pray that He would soften the hearts of those in authority to grant your request. But if He calls you to go in person, may He provide the means and grant you favor in their sight. Remember, *"A man’s heart plans his course, but Yahweh directs his steps"* (Proverbs 16:9, WEB).

For the other jobs you have applied for, we pray that the Lord would open the right doors—those that align with His purpose for your life. Seek first His kingdom and righteousness, and *"all these things will be given to you as well"* (Matthew 6:33, WEB). Do not lean on your own understanding, but acknowledge Him in all your ways, and He will make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6).

Let us also take a moment to reflect: Are you seeking these opportunities with an eternal perspective? Are you asking the Lord to guide you into work that honors Him and allows you to be a light in a dark world? Work is not merely for earthly gain but an opportunity to glorify God and serve others. *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men"* (Colossians 3:23, WEB).

We pray now with one accord:

Heavenly Father, we lift up our brother/sister to You, asking for Your divine intervention in these matters. Lord, You see the frustration over the damaged DVD, and we ask that You would move in the heart of the manufacturer to replace it swiftly and without complication. Let this be a testament to Your provision, even in the small things.

For the job interview, we pray for wisdom and discernment. If it is Your will for this interview to be conducted virtually, we ask that You would grant favor and convince those in authority to accommodate this request. But if You are calling our brother/sister to go in person, provide the necessary resources and grant them peace and confidence as they trust in You. Open doors that no one can shut and close those that are not aligned with Your perfect plan.

For the other job applications, we ask that You would go before them, Lord, and prepare the way. Let Your will be done in their career, that they may walk in the good works You have prepared in advance for them to do. Give them patience and trust in Your timing, knowing that You are faithful.

Above all, we pray that their heart would be fixed on You, Jesus, and that every decision would be made in surrender to Your lordship. May they seek first Your kingdom and find their satisfaction in You alone. We ask these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
