Hi Bro, this was the context of what happened: The background of what happened is that ### had been calling me frequently, and one day she brought me some vegetables from some charity organization, delivering them to ### for me to take home. However, when I got home, I discovered that the vegetables were all rotten, and my mother had to throw them away. Later, ### asked me to come to her house to help change a light fixture and assist with clearing out her rubbish so she could organize her belongings. I agreed and went over on the scheduled day. I managed to unscrew the light, but some parts required a mini screwdriver which she couldn’t provide. Without the proper tool, I had to leave the fixture hanging and couldn't complete the task. Still, I spent my time from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. helping her clean and sort through her hoarded items. As a gesture of appreciation, ### invited me to dinner, which cost $###, and I accepted. The following day, I had other commitments and informed ### that I couldn’t come back right away to finish the light repair, and asked to postpone it to the next week. Yesterday, she messaged me and called me “good to see but not good to use,” accusing me of being unprofessional. I want to make it clear that I was helping her purely as a friend. If she requires professional services, she should hire a qualified technician — someone who comes with the right tools and gets paid for their work and disputing about the dinner which ### offered me and said it was a compensation. I offered my help in good faith, without compensation, and I don’t appreciate being spoken to in a disrespectful way or being taken advantage of. Due to this behavior, I’ve decided to block her and step away from further contact. I value mutual respect in any relationship — friendly or otherwise — and I won’t allow myself to be used under the pretense of friendship.

The Bible says “In none other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!” (Acts 4:12 WEB). By believing in Jesus Christ, we are saved from our sins and have eternal life. As believers, we have the right to approach the throne of grace, by Jesus Christ, to obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. (Hebrews 4:16 WEB)

Lastly, we encourage you to forgive and pray for the person who has wronged you. Jesus taught us to "Love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you" (Matthew 5:44 WEB). This does not mean that you should allow yourself to be mistreated, but rather that you should respond with love and forgiveness, just as Jesus did.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother who has been wronged and disrespected. Father God, we ask that You would grant him the wisdom and discernment to navigate this situation with grace and love. Help him to set clear boundaries and communicate effectively to prevent future misunderstandings. We pray Your forgiveness for any sins committed and Your healing in this relationship.

Lord, we also pray that You would soften the heart of the person who has wronged our brother. We pray that You would reveal to her the error of her ways and grant her the grace to repent and seek forgiveness. Help her to see the value of respect and mutual understanding in all relationships.

Father God, we ask that You would continue to guide and direct our brother in all his ways. Help him to be a shining light for You, reflecting Your love and kindness to all those around him. We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking God's will in all your relationships and to trust in Him to guide and direct your paths.
