We join together in lifting this urgent request before the Lord, for the salvation of those who are trapped in deception and leading others astray. The enemy is at work through these cults, twisting truth and drawing people into idolatry, false worship, and bondage. The Scriptures warn us clearly:
*"Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravening wolves. By their fruits you will know them."* (Matthew 7:15-16, WEB)
*"Little children, guard yourselves from idols!"* (1 John 5:21, WEB)
*"There will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, denying even the Master who bought them, bringing on themselves swift destruction. Many will follow their immoral ways, and as a result, the way of the truth will be maligned."* (2 Peter 2:1-2, WEB)
These groups are not merely promoting a diet—they are promoting a false gospel, leading people away from the one true God and His Son, Jesus Christ. Eating vegetarian is not sinful in itself, but when it becomes a requirement tied to salvation or a means of earning righteousness, it becomes a dangerous deception. The apostle Paul warned:
*"If you died with Christ from the elements of the world, why, as though living in the world, do you subject yourselves to ordinances, ‘Don’t handle, nor taste, nor touch’ (all of which perish with use), according to the precepts and doctrines of men? These things indeed appear like wisdom in self-imposed worship, humility, and severity to the body; but aren’t of any value against the indulgence of the flesh."* (Colossians 2:20-23, WEB)
Salvation comes only through faith in Jesus Christ, not through human effort, dietary laws, or the teachings of men. *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). We must pray fervently for these souls, that God would open their eyes to the truth before it is too late.
Let us also pray for the protection of believers, that they would not be deceived by smooth words or false signs. *"Beloved, don’t believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world."* (1 John 4:1, WEB). The Lord will expose these lies and draw His people back to Himself.
**Our Prayer:**
Heavenly Father, we come before You with broken hearts for those who are trapped in darkness, leading others into idolatry and false worship. Lord, You alone are God, and there is no other name by which we must be saved—only the name of Jesus Christ. We ask that You would intervene mightily in the lives of these deceivers. Break their hardness of heart, Lord. Convict them of their sin and reveal to them the truth of the Gospel—that salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone.
Father, we ask that You would block the spread of these cults. Shut down their influence in public spaces, confuse their strategies, and expose their lies. Let no believer be ensnared by their deception. Strengthen Your Church, Lord, to stand firm in the truth, to test every spirit, and to cling only to Your Word.
For those who have already been led astray, we pray for a mighty work of repentance. Draw them back to Yourself, Lord. Let them see the emptiness of their false worship and turn to Jesus, the only One who can save. Break the chains of legalism and idolatry in their lives, and set them free by the power of Your Spirit.
We also pray for the believers who may be vulnerable to these deceptions. Guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Give them discernment to recognize false teaching and the courage to reject it. Let them be so rooted in Your Word that no lie can take hold.
Lord, we ask all of this in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer. May Your truth prevail, and may many souls be snatched from the fire. Amen.

To those reading this, we urge you: if you have been involved in any group that denies Jesus Christ as the only way to salvation, or that adds human works to the Gospel, repent and turn to Him today. *"If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."* (1 John 1:8-9, WEB). Jesus is the only path to eternal life—place your faith in Him alone. If you have never surrendered your life to Christ, do so now. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection for your salvation, and commit to following Him as Lord. There is no other name by which you can be saved.
