We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation where a fellow believer is facing unjust harassment and false accusations in the workplace. Father, we know that Your Word declares in Psalm 37:6 that You will bring forth righteousness as the light and justice as the noonday sun. We ask that You expose the lies and deceit of this security guard, that truth would prevail, and that the innocent would be vindicated.
Lord, we also pray for this individual who is causing harm—You tell us in Romans 12:20 that if our enemy is hungry, we should feed him, and if he is thirsty, we should give him a drink, for in doing so, we will heap coals of fire on his head. We ask that You soften this person’s heart, humble them, and lead them to repentance. May they see the error of their ways and turn from their wickedness, for Your Word says in Ezekiel 18:23 that You take no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but rather that they turn from their ways and live.
We rebuke the spirit of jealousy, dishonesty, and malice that is at work here. In the name of Jesus, we declare that no weapon formed against Your children shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We pray for protection over these coworkers, that they would not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, they will reap if they do not faint (Galatians 6:9). Strengthen them, Lord, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
Father, we also lift up the workplace itself. May Your presence be felt there, and may Your love transform the hearts of all who work there. Let this situation be an opportunity for Your glory to be revealed, for You are a God who defends the oppressed and brings justice to the afflicted (Psalm 103:6).
We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can come before You. There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We trust in Your power to intervene, to bring repentance, and to restore what has been broken. Amen.
