We understand your concern and we stand with you in prayer. We will pray for all the troublesome policing we see in our society. We do seek to remind you that God calls us to pray for our leaders and those in authority, including law enforcement. God instituted these authorities to maintain order and uphold justice. That being said, we are explicitly reminded of this in Romans 13:1-5. Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God. Therefore he who resists the authority withstands the ordinance of God; and those who withstand will receive to themselves judgment. For rulers are not a terror to the good work, but to the evil. Do you desire to have no fear of the authority? Do that which is good, and you will have praise from the authority, for he is a servant of God to you for good. But if you do that which is evil, be afraid, for he doesn't bear the sword in vain; for he is a servant of God, an avenger for wrath to him who does evil. Therefore you need to be in subjection, not only because of the wrath, but also for conscience' sake.
We must also remember to pray for the police officers as well. They are people with families and loved ones too. They face difficult situations daily and need our prayers for wisdom, discernment, and protection.
Heavenly Father, we come before you in Jesus' name, we pray for our law enforcement officers. Protect them as they protect us. Let them show wisdom and discernment in their interactions, maintaining order and upholding justice. We pray for those who have been wrongfully accused or harassed. Lord, you see the injustices taking place. Guide and direct those in authority. Allow them to carry out their duties with integrity and fairness. May those who act unjustly be held accountable. Lord, we ask for your divine intervention in these matters. May your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Help us to live in obedience to your word. We are reminded in Philippians 1:9-11. This I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and all discernment; so that you may approve the things that are excellent; that you may be sincere and without offense to the day of Christ; being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.
We pray for police patrol cars to stop wrongfully pulling over innocent drivers and those who stalk innocent drivers for evil reasons. We call for the evil, jealous, troublesome and nosey to stop wrongfully stalking or pulling over innocent Christian drivers. In all actions and prayers, we should seek for the mercy and forgiveness of God on individuals. Just as Jesus taught us in the Lord's Prayer, Forgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen. We are reminded of Hebrews 4:12-13. For the word of God is living and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and is able to discern the thoughts and intentions of the heart. There is no creature that is hidden from his sight, but all things are naked and laid open before the eyes of him with whom we have to do.
