We hear your deep frustration and pain over the mistreatment you’ve experienced, and we stand with you in bringing this matter before the Lord. It is never God’s will for His children to be harassed, disrespected, or treated unjustly, and we take your concerns seriously. The Bible tells us in Romans 12:19, "Dearly beloved, don’t seek revenge yourselves, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, ‘Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.’" While your desire for justice is understandable, we must surrender the outcome to God, trusting that He sees all and will act according to His perfect will.

We also want to gently remind you that our words carry power, and Scripture calls us to bless those who curse us, not to curse them in return. In Matthew 5:44, Jesus teaches, "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you." This does not mean the behavior you’ve endured is acceptable, it is not. But we are called to respond in a way that reflects Christ’s love and leaves room for God’s justice. Instead of praying for punishment, we can pray for conviction, repentance, and transformation in the hearts of those who have wronged you.

Let us pray together:

"Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up the situation at . Lord, You see the injustice and mistreatment that has taken place, and we ask for Your intervention. We pray for the cashiers involved, that their hearts would be softened, their eyes opened to their wrongdoing, and that they would turn from their harmful ways. Father, if it is Your will, bring discipline or correction where it is needed, but we also ask that You would work in their lives to draw them to repentance and salvation. For those who have been hurt, including the one who has shared this request, we ask for Your healing, peace, and restoration. Help them to release bitterness and trust in Your justice. May Your name be glorified in this situation, and may Your will be done. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus, Amen."

We also want to encourage you to examine your own heart in this matter. While the behavior of these cashiers is unacceptable, we must guard against harboring hatred or a desire for vengeance, as this can poison our own spirits. Instead, we can ask God to help us forgive, not for their sake, but for our own freedom. Ephesians 4:31-32 says, "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."

If this harassment continues, we also encourage you to seek wise counsel, whether through your church leadership, legal advice, or even reporting the behavior to the store management. God often works through practical steps as well as through prayer.

Finally, we want to remind you that our ultimate hope is in Christ. If you have not yet placed your trust in Him as your Lord and Savior, we invite you to consider doing so today. Jesus is the only way to the Father (John 14:6), and it is through His name alone that we have access to God’s grace, forgiveness, and eternal life. If you’d like to know more about what it means to follow Christ, we’d be honored to share that with you.

May the Lord grant you peace, justice, and a heart that trusts in His sovereignty. You are not alone in this.

It wears on a person to keep running into that same rude, dismissive attitude, especially when you're just trying to go about your day in peace. We're sorry you've been treated that way, and we understand why it feels personal and unjust. When someone acts harshly without cause, it's natural to want them to face consequences, and it's also exhausting to carry around the urgency of seeing it happen.

What you most need right now, and what we can genuinely bring before God together, is a release from that heavy frustration and a sense of being seen and protected. You don't have to carry the whole burden of making things right. We can ask God to step into that situation in His way and His timing, whether that means bringing new eyes to the management, softening a cashier's heart, or simply keeping your own spirit steady when you walk through that door.

One small thing that sometimes helps: when the anger flares up again, pick the single moment that bothers you most and offer it to God the way you'd hand a tangled knot to someone who can actually undo it, not a long prayer, just "Lord, You saw that. I trust You with it." That's often enough to loosen its grip on your thoughts.

Let's pray: Father, You see this store and every person who walks through its doors. You know what's been going on behind that counter, and You know the weariness our friend is feeling. Please give a deep, steady peace that doesn't depend on what any cashier says or does. Guard their dignity and calm their heart. Bring wisdom to whoever oversees that place, and work in whatever way You know is best, whether that means changed conduct, new accountability, or simply clearing the air. In the meantime, give our friend the grace to walk in and out without carrying the weight of it home. In Jesus' name, Amen.

The state of your own heart must be weighed before you call so loudly for the weighing of others. The opinion of a man who is himself marching to hell concerning the justice of hell is not an impartial judge, nor is the cry for humiliation upon others always the voice of humility within ourselves. See to it that no root of pride springs up in this petition, for there is a proposed humility that masks a spirit eager to see its own vindication by the downfall of another. Serving the Lord with all humility of mind must govern even our prayers, lest we mistake our wounded pride for a zeal for righteousness.

God is slow to anger. The lictor of divine justice carries his axe bound up in a bundle of rods, for he will not cut off men until he has reproved them, that they may repent. Before you would have the high tree cut down by the axe of judgment, consider whether the dry tree of your own spirit might need the dew of heaven to flourish. It is not for us to dictate the timing or the severity of the Husbandman's pruning.

Yet in this you have laid hold of a truth, however roughly: the Lord will not at all acquit the wicked. His justice demands that sin cannot go unpunished. But where does divine justice shine forth most gloriously? Not in the expulsion of Adam, not in the drowning of Egypt, but at the cross of Jesus Christ. There Justice itself was satisfied, so that it would be injustice should it ask for more. Look there, and see if your own sins are not more terrible than the petty discourtesies of cashiers. If you have fled to that Substitute, then the very Justice you invoke now stands as your defender, saying, "God must forgive the repenting sinner, if he be just, according to his promise."

Therefore, let your prayer be steeped in humility, which is the herald that ushers in honor. Go low before the throne. Plead the sovereignty of God, who has mercy on whom he will have mercy, and who may in this very trial be humbling you or drawing them. Humility is not injurious to faith; the centurion’s deep sense of unworthiness made him content with a word from Christ. So too, be content to leave these souls in the hands of the slow-to-anger Judge, and pray rather that both they and you might be found in Christ, where mercy and justice kiss, lest a greater firing come than that from an earthly employer.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You ask prayer that these cashiers be humbled, punished, and fired. But examine your own heart: do you desire their humiliation or their salvation? Christ blesses the poor in spirit, those who are lowly and contrite by choice, not those who wish to see others brought low by force. It is easy to ask for justice when you are wounded, but hear the Lord: "Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy." If He gave you only what you deserved, could you stand?

You call them evil and jealous, but remember the publican who beat his breast and said, "God be merciful to me a sinner." That man went home justified, not because he catalogued the sins of others, but because he saw his own. You say they harassed innocent Christians. But are we innocent? "If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves." Instead of praying for their downfall, pray for your own humility. To be humble is not to demand the abasement of others, but to abase yourself willingly, even when you have the right to complain.

The Scripture says, "Poverty humbles a man." You wish them to be humbled by losing their work. But God's way is to draw them by kindness, while you want a miraculous punishment. Did not Christ say, "Love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you"? Your prayer asks for their firing and disgrace. Where is the mercy that mingles with justice? If they have sinned against you, forgive them, that your own trespasses may be forgiven. For there is no greater sacrifice than a contrite heart, but a heart that rejoices in another's calamity is far from contrite.

True humility trembles at God's words, not at the thought of being wronged. Consider your Master: He descended to the lowest estate, and when reviled, He reviled not again. Do you admire your own patience while demanding their heads? That is the subtle pride that turns even humility into a snare. Instead, say from your soul, "God be merciful to them and to me." Leave their employment to God's wise ordering; He knows whether correction or mercy will best serve their souls and yours. If you pray thus, you will be like the poor in spirit to whom the kingdom belongs. If you insist on their punishment, you lose the very virtue by which your own wounds are healed. Therefore, let us war against the devil within, by forgiving, by almsgiving of heart, and by humbling our own souls. Then, whether they stay or go, you will have peace.

It’s easy to spot when the people around us are wrong, especially when it feels personal. You’ve been mistreated, and the anger that rises up makes sense. But the Scriptures push us toward a deeper response than simply praying for others to be humiliated or cast aside. God says, “Keep judgment and do justice,” and He pronounces blessing on the one who lives fairly and honestly. Yet when we cry out for justice only against others, we can miss that the same Lord also examines our own hearts, where a proud look and a demanding spirit are an abomination to Him.

True justice and judgment are more acceptable to the Lord than any sacrifice we might offer. He isn’t looking for us to bring tithes while harboring a desire to see someone crushed. He wants a broken and contrite heart. That doesn’t mean wrongdoing should be ignored; God himself takes up the cause of the afflicted. But He warns that when justice gets perverted through personal vengeance or self-righteousness, the whole order breaks down.

Consider this: God’s own justice was challenged when He sent His Son. The crucifixion was the greatest miscarriage of justice in history, and yet through it, mercy and truth met together. Jesus bore the penalty in his own body, satisfying the righteous demands of God. So now, when you are wronged, you don’t have to carry the weight of being the judge. You can freely bring your hurt to the One who judges rightly, and you can even ask for the people who harassed you to be convicted and changed, rather than simply punished.

Humility and the fear of the Lord are what lead to riches, honor, and life. So pray, yes, that any real injustice be brought to light and that the innocent be protected. But also ask God to search your own heart, so that no root of bitterness pushes you into acting like the very thing you despise. Leave room for God to do what only He can do, bring either repentance or righteous judgment in His perfect time, and trust that your peace doesn’t depend on a cashier’s downfall, but on the mercy and justice already fulfilled for you at the cross.

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer regarding the difficult situation you’ve shared. It’s clear how deeply this injustice has affected you, and we’ve lifted up your concerns before the Lord, asking Him to intervene in the hearts and circumstances of those involved. We prayed for righteousness to prevail, for humility to replace pride, and for God’s justice to be made known in ways that honor Him.

If you’ve seen God move in this situation—whether through changed hearts, consequences for wrongdoing, or even unexpected peace in your own spirit—we would love to hear a praise report so we can rejoice with you. If, however, the situation remains unresolved or feels heavier still, please don’t hesitate to post it again. We are committed to continuing in prayer with you, trusting that God hears and acts according to His perfect will and timing.

May the Lord grant you His peace as you wait on Him, and may His presence remind you that vengeance belongs to Him alone. We pray this in the powerful name of Jesus. Amen.
