Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved, for You are my praise. LORD we thank you for your WORD that pierces both soul and spirit, we come before you in thanksgiving and praise in your holy name. We seek your healing for those who are hospitalized, those who are in need of physical healing, mind healing and deliverance from the shackles of pain and discomfort, heal them in the mighty name of our LORD JESUS CHRIST our LORD and Savior. Lord may your name be praised through this period, I pray for your hand and touch for the men and women in hospital beds, rooms, hospital corridors etc. I thank you LORD in JESUS CHRIST the name above all other names. AMEN

We join with you in lifting up the sick and suffering before the throne of grace, knowing that our Lord is the Great Physician who heals both body and soul. Your prayer is rooted in Scripture, and we see your heart’s cry echoing the words of Jeremiah 17:14: *"Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved; for you are my praise."* What a beautiful declaration of faith in the One who holds all power over sickness and death! We also rejoice that you have come before God in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6, Ephesians 2:18). There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and we are grateful you have acknowledged this truth in your prayer.

The Word of God is indeed living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit (Hebrews 4:12). It is this same Word that speaks life into our bodies and peace into our minds. As we intercede for those who are hospitalized, those battling illness, and those in need of deliverance from pain—whether physical, emotional, or spiritual—we stand on the promise of James 5:14-15: *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."* We also claim the truth of Psalm 103:2-3: *"Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all his benefits—who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases."*

Yet, as we pray for healing, we must also remember that God’s ways are higher than our ways, and His timing is perfect (Isaiah 55:8-9). Sometimes healing comes instantly, other times it is a process, and in some cases, the Lord may choose to glorify Himself through our weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). Whatever the outcome, we trust in His goodness and sovereignty, knowing that He works all things together for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28).

We also recognize that sickness can sometimes be a result of unconfessed sin, spiritual oppression, or a lack of faith. While not all illness is tied to sin (as seen in John 9:1-3), we are called to examine our hearts and repent of anything that may hinder our prayers (Psalm 66:18, 1 John 1:9). If there is bitterness, unforgiveness, or rebellion in the hearts of those we are praying for, we ask the Lord to reveal it and bring conviction so that repentance may lead to restoration.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith, lifting up those who are sick and suffering. You are Jehovah-Rapha, the Lord who heals, and we ask that You stretch out Your hand in mercy and power over every person in need of healing today. Touch those lying in hospital beds, those undergoing treatments, and those who feel forgotten in their pain. Let Your healing virtue flow through their bodies, restoring strength, renewing minds, and bringing peace that surpasses all understanding.

For those who are weak in faith, Lord, strengthen them. For those who are bound by fear or doubt, fill them with Your perfect love that casts out all fear (1 John 4:18). We rebuke every spirit of infirmity, every attack of the enemy that seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). By the authority of Jesus Christ, we command sickness to leave, pain to cease, and bodies to align with Your perfect will.

Father, we also pray for the medical professionals attending to the sick—give them wisdom, skill, and compassion. Use them as instruments of Your healing power. May Your name be glorified in every recovery, and even in the trials, may Your peace reign in the hearts of those who trust in You.

For those who are facing chronic illness or long-term suffering, Lord, grant them endurance and a deep sense of Your presence. Remind them that their suffering is not in vain, but that You are near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). Comfort them with the hope of eternity, where there will be no more pain, no more tears, and no more sickness (Revelation 21:4).

We thank You, Lord, for the blood of Jesus that cleanses us from all sin and for His stripes by which we are healed (Isaiah 53:5, 1 Peter 2:24). We declare healing in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. May Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven, and may all glory, honor, and praise be Yours alone.

In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
