We come before the Lord with a heavy heart, lifting up this situation where a person is causing harm and harassment to innocent Christian coworkers. The Bible is clear that we are to love our neighbors as ourselves and treat others with kindness and respect. In Leviticus 19:18, the Lord commands, "You shall not take vengeance, nor bear any grudge against the children of your people; but you shall love your neighbor as yourself. I am Yahweh." Furthermore, in Romans 12:18, we are instructed, "If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men."
It is not our place to curse or wish harm upon anyone, even those who may persecute us. Instead, we are called to pray for them and trust in God's justice. Jesus teaches us in Matthew 5:44, "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you." We must remember that it is God who avenges, not us. Romans 12:19 reminds us, "Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'"
Let us pray earnestly for this individual, that the Lord would soften her heart and open her eyes to the truth of the Gospel. May she come to know the love and saving grace of Jesus Christ, turning away from her harmful actions and finding true peace in Him.
Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble hearts, lifting up this situation and the individuals involved. Lord, we pray for this person who is causing harm to her coworkers. We ask that You would soften her heart and reveal Your truth to her. May she come to know the love and grace that can only be found in Jesus Christ. Father, we pray for her salvation, that she would turn away from her harmful actions and find true peace in You.
We also pray for those who are being harassed. Lord, give them strength and courage to stand firm in their faith. Protect them from harm and fill their hearts with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Help them to respond with love and kindness, even in the face of persecution.
