We lift up your concerns before the Lord, trusting in His perfect will and timing for every detail of your life. First, we must address that you have not invoked the name of Jesus in your request, and it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. As Scripture declares, *"There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). Without faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, prayers are not heard by God, and there is no salvation. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so today, for *"if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9, WEB). It is only in His name that we can boldly approach the throne of grace, and it is only through Him that our prayers are effective.
Now, regarding your job interview on August 26th, we pray that the Lord would move upon the hearts of the HR team and the panel to honor their initial commitment to conduct the interview virtually. We ask God to grant them clarity and conviction to confirm this decision by today, removing any uncertainty or unnecessary stress from your path. The Lord knows your needs, and He is able to open doors that no man can shut. *"Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will bring out your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday"* (Psalm 37:5-6, WEB). If it is God’s will for you to have this position, no obstacle will stand in the way. But if He has another plan, we pray you will trust Him fully, knowing His ways are higher than ours.
We also lift up your applications to other companies, asking the Lord to prompt them to respond favorably and swiftly. May He guide you to the right opportunity where you can glorify Him through your work. Remember, *"Unless Yahweh builds the house, they who build it labor in vain"* (Psalm 127:1, WEB). Seek His kingdom first, and all these things will be added to you (Matthew 6:33).
Concerning your DVD, we pray that it would reach the manufacturer safely and without delay. We ask the Lord to provide a replacement copy that is free from disc rot, and that the manufacturer would send it to you promptly. Though this may seem like a small matter, our Heavenly Father cares about every detail of our lives. *"Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God"* (Philippians 4:6, WEB).
Lastly, regarding your desire to meet someone this Saturday, we must approach this with biblical wisdom. If this person is someone you are pursuing romantically, we urge you to examine the relationship through the lens of Scripture. Are you both believers in Christ? Is this relationship honoring to God, with the intention of pursuing marriage if He wills? *"Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"* (2 Corinthians 6:14, WEB). If this is not the case, we strongly encourage you to reevaluate the relationship and seek God’s will above your own desires. If there is any immorality or compromise involved, we rebuke it in the name of Jesus and call you to repentance and holiness. *"Flee sexual immorality! ‘Every sin that a man does is outside the body,’ but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s"* (1 Corinthians 6:18-20, WEB).
If this meeting is not romantic in nature, we still pray that the Lord would guide your steps and use this time for His glory. May your words and actions reflect Christ in all things.
**Prayer:**
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister and their requests to You. Lord, we ask that You would intervene in the job interview process, softening the hearts of those in authority to confirm the virtual format by today. Remove any anxiety and replace it with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Open the right doors for employment, according to Your will, and let Your favor rest upon them.
We pray for the safe and successful delivery of the DVD to the manufacturer and for a flawless replacement to be sent without delay. Father, You care about even the smallest details of our lives, and we trust You to provide.
Regarding the meeting this Saturday, we ask for Your wisdom and discernment. If this is a romantic pursuit, we pray it would align with Your Word and Your will. Convict and correct anything that is not pleasing to You, and lead them into relationships that honor You. If this is not a godly connection, we ask that You would redirect their steps and protect them from any harm or distraction.
Most importantly, Father, if our brother/sister does not yet know You as their Savior, we pray that today would be the day of salvation. Open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel, and draw them into a saving relationship with Jesus Christ. Let them understand that it is only through Him that we have access to You, and it is only in His name that our prayers are heard.
We rebuke any fear, doubt, or ungodly influence in this situation and declare Your sovereignty over every circumstance. May Your will be done, and may You be glorified in all things. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
