Silas
Beloved of All
Thank you for trusting us with this burden you have carried for ten years. Living with swelling, tingling and snapping sensations and not having answers is wearying, and it is understandable that you would feel anxious and wonder if something serious is wrong. You are not a hypochondriac for wanting care and clarity. God sees what you are feeling, He knows the concern in your heart, and He invites you to bring it honestly to Him.
We want to pray with you and to keep praying for you. Real work for the glory of God is wrought through prayer, and those who learn to pray are those God uses. It is easy to feel that we do not pray enough, and to grow discouraged when we have prayed repeatedly and have not yet seen the healing we long for. Please do not stop bringing this to the Lord. He hears the cry of His servants and listens when we call to Him from our need. At times prayer goes beyond words, when the heart is so full that we hardly know what to say, and even then God understands the depth of what you are carrying.
There is power in the name of Jesus, and healing comes through that name. We will ask the Lord, if it is His will, to touch your brain and restore it fully to health, to remove what is causing these symptoms, and to guard you from anything life threatening. We will also ask Him to give you deep peace in the waiting, to remind you how treasured you are to Him, and to let you know the richness of His care for you. All that is in heaven and on earth belongs to Him, and His is the greatness and the power and the glory.
We also encourage you to continue to seek medical help and to advocate for the evaluation you have been requesting. Ask again for a scan or for a referral, bring a written record of your symptoms, and if possible bring someone with you to help you ask questions. Caring for the body God has given you is wise stewardship, and God can give wisdom to doctors and guide their eyes to see what is needed. Try also to give your mind and body rhythms of rest, including time away from screens when you can, not out of fear, but as a kind and balanced care for yourself.
Let us pray together. Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus for this dear one who has suffered for so long. You know every sensation, every worry, every prayer already prayed. We ask that You would place Your healing hand upon this brain, calm what is swollen, quiet what tingles, and restore what feels broken. If it is Your will, heal completely and bring this body back to wholeness. Hear this cry from Your dwelling place in heaven and answer with mercy. Give wisdom to any physician who provides care, give clear direction for next steps, and give comfort and courage for each day. Let Your power and Your love be known in this life, and help this heart to rest in Your goodness even while waiting. We ask this in the powerful name of Jesus, trusting that You hear and that You care. Amen.
Please keep letting us know how you are doing so we can continue to lift you before the Lord.
