We hear your cry for justice and protection, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting this heavy burden before the throne of God. The harassment, slander, and evil you describe are not of the Lord, and we take authority over them in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Scripture tells us, "The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble" (Psalm 9:9). We declare that God sees your innocence and the wickedness being done against you, and He will arise to defend you.

First, we must address the spirit of this request. While your pain and frustration are understandable, we are called to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44). This does not mean we tolerate evil or fail to seek justice, God is a God of justice, and He will repay (Romans 12:19). However, we must guard our hearts against bitterness and hatred, for "if you don’t forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses" (Matthew 6:15). We pray for this woman not out of vengeance, but that she may be stopped, humbled, and ultimately led to repentance.

We rebuke the spirit of witchcraft and slander in Jesus’ name. The Bible is clear: "There shall not be found among you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to the Lord" (Deuteronomy 18:10-12). We command every ungodly influence over her life to be broken, and we declare that the power of Christ will expose and dismantle every scheme of the enemy.

We pray for your protection and peace. May the Lord surround you with His angels, as He promises in Psalm 34:7: "The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them." May He silence the mouths of those who speak lies and bring their deeds into the light (Ephesians 5:11). We ask that God grant you wisdom and discernment, that you may know how to respond, or not respond, to these attacks in a way that honors Him.

Father God, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). We ask that You intervene in this situation. Stop this woman from her wicked ways, Lord. Humble her heart, break the power of deception over her, and turn her from her sin. If she will not repent, then we ask that You remove her from this place of influence and bring her schemes to nothing. Protect these innocent neighbors from her lies and harassment. Let truth prevail, and let Your justice be done.

We also pray for the one who has cried out to You today. Strengthen their faith, Lord. Remind them that You are their defender and that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and help them to trust in Your timing and Your ways.

In all things, we submit to Your will, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28). We trust in Your perfect justice, Your unfailing love, and Your sovereign power. May Your name be glorified in this situation, and may Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.

We hear the weariness behind your words, the daily tension of watching a neighbor be targeted with lies and hostility is exhausting. It’s right to bring this to God, trusting that He sees what’s happening and cares about the truth. We’re joining you in asking for His intervention, but we’d like to lift it in a way that focuses on protection, peace, and the possibility of real change, rather than punishment. You’ve named the pain clearly; now let’s place these burdens in His hands together.

If the harassment is ongoing and crosses into threats or recurring defamation, it may also be wise to document specific incidents and, if necessary, speak with local authorities. That’s not a lack of faith, it’s a practical step God can use to safeguard the innocent. And while justice matters, we know that praying for someone who wrongs us can begin to loosen the hold their actions have on our own heart. Not easy, but it’s a way we can follow Christ even in small, painful steps.

Lord Jesus, we lift up these neighbors who are being falsely accused and tormented. Shield them from every harmful word and deed. Expose the lies and bring the truth into the light. Calm the turmoil in that residence and give everyone involved a sense of Your nearness. For the woman named, we ask not for humiliation but for Your intervention, stop the harassment, draw her away from bitterness, and if she is lost in something we can’t see, set her free. Guard the hearts of those being slandered from anger and fear, and help them to rest in Your justice and care. In Your strong name, Amen.

I am not able to write the reading you asked for. What you have sent me is not a prayer for help but a prayer for harm, and I cannot put that into the mouth of the Lord's servant. You have asked God to punish a woman, naming her and her address, calling her "evil, jealous, useless, spiteful, hateful and annoying." This is not the language of a heart that has been with Jesus. It is the cry of bitter anger, and to dress it up in a devotional reading would be to wound the name of Christ.

Sit with me for a moment and hear me in love, for I would not say a sharp word to drive you away. You are clearly suffering. You feel harassed, wronged, slandered, perhaps stalked and worn down day after day. I do not dismiss your pain as though it were nothing. When a neighbour's tongue is set on fire of hell, it burns everything it touches, and the scars go deep. I am sorry you are in such a storm. But your prayer is not the prayer of the cross. The Lord Jesus, when He was reviled, reviled not again; when He suffered, He threatened not, but committed Himself to Him that judges righteously. Have you forgotten Gethsemane? Have you forgotten Calvary? From the cross He cried, "Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do." If He breathes that Spirit into you, you will yet bless this woman and pray that God would have mercy upon her, not crush her. At present you are asking God to be the minister of your vengeance, and He will never wear your livery.

Do you not see that you are hurting your own soul more than she can ever hurt you? A revengeful spirit is a poisoned cup that we drink ourselves while hoping our enemy will die. It will eat into your peace, your prayers, and your assurance. You cannot hold bitterness in one hand and the cross in the other. Go to your chamber, fall on your knees, and ask the Lord to forgive you for this outburst, and to give you grace to pray for her as a soul for whom Christ died. I will not write a reading that baptizes wrath. I love you too well for that. The only safe road is to confess your anger, wash your own heart, and then leave the whole tangled matter in the hands of Him who judges righteously. He knows exactly how to spare the innocent and humble the proud, and He does not need us to dictate the terms.

Let us pray together, not for her destruction, but for your peace and her salvation:

Lord Jesus, You are the Prince of Peace. Look upon this dear, bruised soul who has come before You with a heart full of hurt and fire. Forgive the angry words; forgive the wish for harm. Take the poison out and pour in Your love. Give this child of Yours the power to bless and not to curse, to entrust everything to Your righteous judgment. Protect the innocent; silence the slanderer, yes, Lord, but do it in the way that brings souls to repentance and not to ruin. Make Your child here to be an overcomer by the blood of the Lamb, and let peace that passes understanding garrison the heart and mind. In Your holy name, Jesus, I ask it. Amen.
