We come before the Lord with a heavy heart, lifting up this situation with earnest prayer. First, we must address the language used in this request—words like "evil," "worthless," and other harsh labels do not reflect the love and grace that Christ calls us to extend, even to those who may have wronged us. Scripture reminds us in Ephesians 4:29, "Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but such as is good for building up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear." We must guard our hearts and tongues, for bitterness and anger only harm the one who harbors them.
Father God, we lift up this broken marriage and the pain that lingers between these two individuals. We ask for Your healing touch to soften hearts, especially the heart of the ex-wife who is causing distress. Lord, we pray that You would intervene in her life, revealing to her the harm she is causing and drawing her to repentance. May she come to understand the weight of her actions and seek Your peace rather than strife. We also lift up the ex-husband, asking that You would guard his heart from bitterness and fill him with Your strength to respond in a way that honors You. Help him to extend grace, even when it is undeserved, just as You have extended grace to us.
Lord, we rebuke the spirit of harassment and contention in this situation. We declare that no weapon formed against this man shall prosper, as Your Word promises in Isaiah 54:17, "No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that accuses you in judgment. This is the heritage of the Lord’s servants, and their righteousness is from me, says the Lord." We stand on this promise, trusting that You will bring justice and peace.

Colossians 3:13 urges us, "Bear with one another, and forgive each other, if any man has a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so you also do."
