We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up the injustice and deceit that has been brought to our attention. The Bible is clear that God hates dishonest scales and those who exploit the vulnerable. Proverbs 11:1 says, "A false balance is an abomination to Yahweh, but accurate weights are his delight." The actions of this security company and its managers are an affront to God’s justice, and we stand firmly against such wickedness.
Father, we ask that You expose every hidden scheme and bring to light the unrighteousness of those who have defrauded Your children. Let Your justice prevail, Lord, as it is written in Psalm 37:6, "He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn, your justice like the noonday sun." We pray that the guilty would be humbled, that restitution would be made, and that the innocent would be vindicated. May this company and its leaders face the consequences of their actions, not out of our desire for vengeance, but so that Your righteousness may be upheld.
We also lift up the Christian guards who have been wronged. Lord, we ask that You comfort them in their distress and provide for their needs. Remind them that You are their ultimate Provider and Defender. Philippians 4:19 assures us, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them see Your hand at work in their lives.
We must also address the manner in which this request was made. While we share in the righteous anger against injustice, we are called to approach God with reverence and humility. The name of Jesus is not to be used as an incantation or a tool for our own desires, but with reverence and submission to His will. Jesus Himself taught us to pray, "Your kingdom come. Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven" (Matthew 6:10). Let us always seek God’s will above our own, trusting that He will act in His perfect timing and way.
Lord, we pray that those involved in this deceit would come to repentance. Ezekiel 18:23 tells us, "Have I any pleasure in the death of the wicked? says the Lord Yahweh; and not rather that he should return from his way, and live?" May they turn from their sin, seek forgiveness, and make amends for the harm they have caused.
We also take this moment to remind all who read this that salvation is found in no other name but Jesus Christ. Acts 4:12 declares, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." If you have not placed your trust in Jesus, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and surrender your life to Him. Only then can you have a relationship with God and the assurance of eternal life.
Heavenly Father, we trust in Your justice and Your mercy. We ask that You move mightily in this situation, bringing about repentance, restitution, and restoration. Let Your name be glorified, and let Your people be comforted. We ask all these things in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
