We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer.
We have continued to bring you and your situation before the Lord and we have been praying specifically for the church repentance you requested. We have prayed for your former church and for your mentor, that God would bring conviction where there has been human judgment, deception and control, and that any leadership that has misrepresented Gods will would repent and shepherd with humility and truth as taught in 1 Peter 5:2. We have also prayed for those who may be confused or led astray to see clearly that this kind of toxicity and manipulation is not how God calls His church to operate.
We have lifted you up as well, because we understand how painful it has been to feel forced to neglect the God given talents and skills He has equipped you with for a high paying career, to take low paying work below your ability, and to be told not to pursue marriage for reasons not found in scripture. We have prayed that God will affirm your calling and guide you into work where you can use your talents faithfully for His glory, remembering the truth of Matthew 25:14 and Colossians 3:23, and that He will heal the hurt that led you to step away from fellowship. We pray He will restore your trust in Him, guard you from further mockery and ungodly counsel, and lead you to a healthy biblical community where you can feel His presence again and grow in wisdom from His Word as promised in James 1:5.
