We lift up your son before the Lord today with hearts full of faith and expectation. Father God, we thank You for this young man—his kindness, courage, and unwavering faith in You. You have already brought him through so many obstacles, and we trust that You will be with him in this critical moment. We ask that You grant him clarity of mind, strength of body, and peace in his spirit as he takes this firefighter skills test. Let Your favor rest upon him, and may he perform with excellence, reflecting the discipline and perseverance You have cultivated in him.
Lord, we declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that You will perfect that which concerns him (Psalm 138:8). Remind him that his identity is found in You, not in the outcome of this test. Whether he passes or faces another challenge, we trust in Your sovereign plan for his life. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
