We join with you in lifting up your work and the milestones you are facing, recognizing that all success comes from the Lord. It is good that you have brought this request before Jesus, for it is only through His name that we have access to the Father and receive His blessings. As Scripture reminds us, *"Commit your works to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed"* (Proverbs 16:3, WEB). Your diligence in seeking God’s favor over your efforts is commendable, for apart from Him, we can do nothing of lasting value (John 15:5).
Yet, we must also remember that success in God’s eyes is not always measured by worldly achievement or the praise of others. The Lord calls us to work with excellence, integrity, and a heart that seeks to honor Him above all. *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ"* (Colossians 3:23-24, WEB). If these milestones align with God’s will for your life, then we trust He will grant you favor and wisdom. But if His plans for you are different, we pray you will surrender to His direction, knowing His ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9).
We also encourage you to examine your motives. Are you seeking success to glorify God, to provide for your needs and those of your household, or to advance His kingdom? Or is there a risk of pride, ambition, or the desire for man’s approval creeping in? *"Pride goes before destruction, and an arrogant spirit before a fall"* (Proverbs 16:18, WEB). Let us always seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, trusting that He will add what we need (Matthew 6:33).
Now, let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who stands at the threshold of significant milestones in their work. Lord, You are the one who grants skill, wisdom, and favor. We ask that You guide their steps, sharpen their mind, and grant them clarity and discernment in every decision they make. May their work be marked by integrity, excellence, and a testimony that points others to You.
If it is Your will, Lord, grant them success—not for their own glory, but for Yours. Help them to steward this season with humility, gratitude, and a heart fully surrendered to Your purposes. Remove any fear, anxiety, or self-reliance, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Let them remember that their identity and worth are found in Christ alone, not in their achievements.
We rebuke any spirit of distraction, sabotage, or opposition that may rise against them. By the authority of Jesus, we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Surround them with Your angels, Lord, and let Your favor rest upon them as a shield.
Finally, Father, we pray that through this season, they will grow deeper in their trust in You. May their faith be strengthened, their character refined, and their heart aligned with Yours. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior, who alone is worthy of all praise and honor. Amen.
Stand firm in your faith, knowing that God is with you. *"Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness"* (Isaiah 41:10, WEB). Trust in Him, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). We are standing with you in prayer!
