PRAY FOR SOULS TO BE CHANGED FOREVER!
"Everyone who confesses the name of the Lord must turn away from wickedness." 2 Timothy 2:19
Will you start preparing your heart to worship your Lord Jesus Christ this Lord's Day? God receives you, just as you are. But then He wants to work in your life, to make you all that He desires you to be in the future. Ask the Lord today to show you if there is anything that needs to be removed or cleansed from your own personal life, such as any hidden sin. Ask the Lord to reveal to you if there is anyone you still have not truly forgiven. If you ask the Lord these questions, He will show you and cleanse you from any and all unrighteousness. Will you pray for your husband or wife to be set free from all their sins this very day?
But thanks be to God that, though you used to be slaves to sin, you wholeheartedly obeyed the form of teaching to which you were entrusted. You have been set free from sin and have become slaves to righteousness. I put this in human terms because you are weak in your natural selves. Just as you used to offer the parts of your body in slavery to impurity and to ever-increasing wickedness, so now offer them in slavery to righteousness leading to holiness. When you were slaves to sin, you were free from the control of righteousness. What benefit did you reap at that time from the things you are now ashamed of? Those things result in death! But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves to God, the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life. For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:17-23
When you surrender your life to the Lord, He will start perfecting you to be used in His kingdom. You need to be honest with yourself and know that the Lord wants you to live a holy life. Many Christians believe that the Lord knows our weaknesses and accepts them. That is a lie from the enemy. God defeated the enemy and left the Holy Spirit for you to be able to overcome your sinful nature. You are to become more like Jesus every day of your life.
Therefore, prepare your minds for action: be self-controlled; set your hope fully on the grace to be given you when Jesus Christ is revealed. As obedient children, do not conform to the evil desires you had when you lived in ignorance. But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; for it is written: "Be holy, because I am holy." 1 Peter 1:13-16
This should be your daily goal. Regardless of the present circumstances, you can allow the Holy Spirit to make you to be different than the people in the world. Your standard should not be like the world's, but the standards of your Lord Jesus Christ. Who are you like today? You can be more like Jesus as the Holy Spirit cleanses your soul from sin, and as you pursue Christ-likeness. You need to hate your sins and cry out to the Lord Jesus to deliver you from any ungodliness.
Therefore, rid yourselves of all malice and all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and slander of every kind. Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation, now that you have tasted that the Lord is good. 1 Peter 2:1-2
I pray that you will use this time that you have away from your prodigal spouse for God's glory. May you allow the Holy Spirit to make you into a new creature in Christ. When I started standing for Bob, people in our church commented about how I looked and acted differently. I walked and spoke in faith. You have a choice whom you will follow every day. This Lord's Day may you and I pray for all prodigals who are away from God to:
Seek the Lord while he may be found; call on him while he is near. Let the wicked forsake his way and the evil man this thoughts. Let him turn to the Lord, and he will have mercy on him, and to our God, for he will freely pardon. Isaiah 55:6-7
Thank You, Lord for Your grace and mercy for all sinners. Have you accepted Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord of your life? Today cry out to the Lord, repenting and asking the Lord to come into your heart, life and marriage. Tell the Lord that you surrender your entire life and every part of it for Him to take over. Ask the Lord to change you into the husband or wife that you need to become.
The first step in a healed marriage is to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Our God and Creator is waiting to hear your prayers daily. The Lord will change your life forever and He will become your Comforter and Counselor in the days ahead, regardless of all your circumstances.
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9
A Prayer For You To Pray -
"Dear Jesus, I believe that You died on the Cross shedding Your Blood for my sins. I believe that You arose again on the third day. I confess to You that I am a sinner and that I need Your love and forgiveness. Come into my life, forgive me of my sins, and I thank You for your free gift of eternal life. I confess to You now that You are my Lord and Savior. Thank You for my salvation. Lord, show me Your will and way for my marriage. Mold me and make me to be the spouse I need to be for my husband or wife. Lord, I pray that You will go and speak to my beloved husband or wife and for their heart transformation. Thank You for resurrecting our marriage and using our family to share with others in the future that God heals hurting and dead marriages. In Jesus Name I pray. Amen."

Let us pray that pastors around the world will be convicted by the Holy Spirit to pray for marriage restoration and for all hurting and dead marriages every Lord's Day. Yes, you are on a spiritual journey, but I can tell you from personal experience for the past twenty-five years, it is worth it all. I hope you can say it is already worth it for the personal relationship that you now have with your Lord Jesus Christ and you being a lighthouse for your family and neighborhood.
"'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: On the day I cleanse you from all your sins, I will resettle your towns, and the ruins will be rebuilt. The desolate land will be cultivated instead of lying desolate in the sight of all who pass through it. They will say, "This land that was laid waste has become like the garden of Eden; the cities that were lying in ruins, desolate and destroyed, are now fortified and inhabited." Then the nations around you that remain will know that I the LORD have rebuilt what was destroyed and have replanted what was desolate. I the LORD have spoken, and I will do it.'" Ezekiel 36:33-36
