We come before the Lord with a heavy heart, lifting up this request for approval of SSI benefits. First and foremost, we must acknowledge that all authority and provision come from God alone. While we understand the urgency and necessity of this situation, we must remember that our trust should not be in systems or institutions, but in the Lord who cares for us deeply.
The Bible tells us in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." This does not mean that God will always provide in the way we expect or on our desired timeline, but it does assure us that He knows our needs and will meet them according to His perfect will.
We also recognize that God is a God of justice and mercy. In Psalm 82:3, we are called to "Defend the weak, the poor, and the fatherless. Maintain the rights of the poor and oppressed." Therefore, we pray that the Social Security Administration would act with fairness, wisdom, and compassion in this situation.
However, we must rebuke any spirit of anxiety or fear that may be present. The Lord tells us in Matthew 6:31-33, "Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." We encourage you to seek God’s Kingdom first, trusting that He will provide for your needs in His perfect timing and way.

We ask that You would move miraculously in this situation, softening hearts and opening doors that no man can shut. We pray for wisdom and discernment for those who are making decisions regarding this case. May they act with justice, mercy, and compassion, reflecting Your heart for the poor and oppressed.
Lord, we also pray for patience and trust in Your perfect timing. Help us to remember that You are our provider and that You will never leave us nor forsake us.
