Pray for small groups leader and members to realize that believing gossip is just as bad

Please pray for a small groups leader in my rural area. Prayer requests can be sources of

gossip and have been used as gossip material. Though assured that things "stay in the

small group," things did not stay in the small group. I feel hurt by this, insulted, angry, and

just plain tired and sad. I have people in this group not talking to me, members avoid me,

may be angry at the leader. It's all so twisted and makes no sense to me, other than I feel

uncomfortable in the group. This was my last ditch effort at organized religion in this area,

because it is a very small-minded, clannish religious area where many outsiders are not

truly welcomed. If I had remained "an island" of silent misery, then I would not be suffering

this rejection right now.
