We come before the Lord with a heart of justice and righteousness, knowing that He is a God who defends the cause of the oppressed and ensures fairness for all. The scriptures remind us in **Deuteronomy 24:14-15**, *"You shall not oppress a hired servant who is poor and needy, whether he is one of your brothers or one of the foreigners who are in your land within your gates. In his day you shall give him his hire, neither shall the sun go down on it; for he is poor, and sets his heart on it: lest he cry against you to Yahweh, and it be sin to you."* This is a clear command from the Lord that wages must be paid promptly and fairly, for withholding what is rightfully owed is a sin before Him.
We also recall the words of **James 5:4**, *"Behold, the wages of the laborers who mowed your fields, which you have kept back by fraud, cry out, and the cries of those who reaped have entered into the ears of the Lord of Armies."* The Lord hears the cries of those who have been wronged, and He is just. He will act on behalf of those who have been treated unjustly.
However, we must also address the phrase *"settle the score"* in your request. Our call is not to seek vengeance or retaliation, for **Romans 12:19** tells us, *"Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'"* Instead, we pray for justice to be done in a way that honors God and brings about righteousness. We ask the Lord to move upon the hearts of those in authority at this company, that they may repent of any wrongdoing and act with integrity. We pray that they would be convicted by the Holy Spirit to do what is right and just in the sight of God.
We also lift up the former employees who are awaiting what is rightfully theirs. May the Lord provide for their needs in this season and grant them patience and trust in Him. Let them remember **Philippians 4:19**, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* We pray that they would not grow bitter or anxious but would cast their cares upon the Lord, knowing that He cares for them (**1 Peter 5:7**).
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We ask that You intervene in this situation and bring about justice for these former employees. Soften the hearts of those who have withheld their wages, and lead them to repentance. Let them act swiftly and fairly, not out of compulsion, but out of a genuine desire to do what is right in Your eyes. Lord, we ask that You would provide miraculously for these workers, meeting their needs even as they wait. Let this situation be resolved in a way that brings glory to Your name and testifies to Your justice and faithfulness.
We also pray for the salvation of those who have acted unjustly. May they come to know You, Father, and experience the transforming power of Your grace. Let this be an opportunity for them to turn from their ways and seek Your forgiveness. For it is only through Jesus Christ that we find true redemption and the power to live righteously.
Finally, we declare that this matter is in Your hands, Lord. We trust in Your timing and Your ways, knowing that You are just and faithful. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified in this situation. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
