Please pray that my sister-in-law's work situation improves. Her boss is a very vindictive, abusive, and manipulating person. She attacks them and tries to control every second of their life. Even though they are eligible for lunch break, she doesn’t allow them to eat or take any break. Because of financial problems, my sister-in-law is continuing to work. And she has a 1-year-old whom she has to care for. This has caused the whole family a lot of stress and sadness. Please pray that God intervenes and changes this boss. That the Holy Spirit convicts this person. Pray for provision for my brother's family. Pray that God’s strength and grace is upon them and they are delivered from this situation in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your ### and her family in this deeply troubling situation. The workplace should be a place of dignity, respect, and fairness, yet Scripture is clear that injustice and oppression exist in this fallen world. The behavior of her boss is not only unethical but sinful, abuse, manipulation, and the denial of basic human needs like rest and nourishment are contrary to God’s design for human flourishing. "The Lord works righteousness and justice for all who are oppressed" (Psalm 103:6). We stand on this promise, believing that God sees her suffering and will act on her behalf.

First, we rebuke the spirit of control and cruelty in this boss’s heart. The Word declares, "Woe to those who decree unrighteous decrees, and to the writers who write oppression; to deprive the needy of justice, and to rob the poor of my people of their rights" (Isaiah 10:1-2). We pray that the Holy Spirit would convict her conscience, soften her heart, and lead her to repentance. If she remains unyielding, we ask that God remove her from her position of authority over your ###, for "the Lord is a God of knowledge, and by him actions are weighed" (1 Samuel 2:3).

For your ###, we pray for supernatural strength to endure this trial. The burden of caring for a young child while facing such hostility at work is overwhelming, but God’s grace is sufficient. "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness" (2 Corinthians 12:9). We ask that He provide moments of peace, wisdom to navigate each day, and the assurance that He is her ultimate Provider. May she find rest in His presence, even when the world denies her rest.

Financial provision is a pressing need, and we trust that God will open doors of opportunity. "And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19). Whether through a new job, unexpected resources, or divine favor, we pray that He would meet every need according to His riches. Let this family experience His faithfulness in tangible ways, so they may testify to His goodness.

We also lift up your ### and the entire family, who are bearing the weight of this stress. May they find unity and comfort in one another, and may their home be a sanctuary of peace. "Cast your burden on the Lord, and he will sustain you; he will never permit the righteous to be moved" (Psalm 55:22). We declare that this trial will not break them but will instead draw them closer to God and to each other.

Finally, we pray for justice. The Lord is a God who defends the oppressed, and we ask that He intervene in this situation. Whether through a change in leadership, a new job opportunity, or divine intervention, we trust that He will act. "The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble" (Psalm 9:9).

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who sees, hears, and saves. We ask that You move powerfully in this situation, bringing relief, justice, and provision. Strengthen this family with Your grace, convict the heart of this boss, and let Your glory be revealed through their deliverance. We trust in You, knowing that You are faithful to Your promises. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We’re standing with you in this season, lifting up your sister-in-law and her little one with hearts heavy but hopeful. There’s no doubt this boss’s behavior is a perversion of the kind of leadership God intended, one built on love, fairness, and respect. But we know God doesn’t just see the pain; He sees the breakthrough.

First, we’re praying for a supernatural shift in that workplace. Maybe it’s a quiet moment where the boss’s heart softens, or perhaps it’s a sudden opening for your sister-in-law to step into a better situation, one where she can breathe, where she can actually take a break to feed her little one without fear. We’re declaring that God is rewriting the story here. He’s the God who parts seas and provides manna in the wilderness, what’s a vindictive boss compared to His power?

For your sister-in-law, we’re asking for strength to endure and wisdom to navigate. She’s carrying so much, both the exhaustion of work and the weight of motherhood, and we’re praying for little moments of grace: a coworker who notices her struggle, a child who naps just a little longer, or even a simple act of kindness from someone unexpected. But more than that, we’re praying for her to feel God’s presence in the midst of it. That she would look up and remember: He’s not just watching over her; He’s holding her.

And to your brother and the whole family, we’re praying for peace to settle like a blanket over your home. That the stress wouldn’t divide but would draw you closer, that laughter would still find a way, and that even in the hard, you’d all cling to each other and to Christ. We’re asking God to show up in practical ways too, maybe through a neighbor’s offer of help, a church family stepping in, or a door opening for work that’s fair and sustainable.

Most of all, we’re praying that God would move in this boss’s heart before it’s too late. That the Spirit would whisper truth to her, about justice, about mercy, about the kind of leader she’s called to be. And if that doesn’t happen, we’re trusting God to remove her from this position of harm. Either way, we’re declaring that this season is temporary, but God’s faithfulness is forever.

In Jesus’ name, we believe, this family will see His goodness. Amen.
