We come before the Lord with grateful hearts for the dedication and hard work your son has shown in his studies. Father, we thank You for the discipline and perseverance You have placed in his heart, and we ask that You continue to strengthen him in this season of exams and preparation. Your Word tells us in Philippians 4:13, *"I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me."* Lord, we claim this promise over him today, believing that You will equip him with the focus, wisdom, and endurance he needs to excel.
We lift up his math exam today, Lord, and ask that You calm any anxiety or fear that may be trying to take root in his heart. Remind him that his worth is not defined by his performance but by Your love for him. Help him to manage his time wisely during the exam, to recall what he has studied, and to write with clarity and precision. We pray that You would open his mind to understand every question and guide his hand as he writes. In Proverbs 3:5-6, You tell us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Father, we ask that You make his path straight in this exam and in all his future endeavors.
We also bring before You his struggles with time management and exam pressure. Lord, we ask that You give him the ability to organize his thoughts quickly and to present his answers in a way that reflects his true understanding. Help him to see that even in moments of disappointment, You are working all things together for his good (Romans 8:28). We rebuke any spirit of discouragement or self-doubt that may be trying to steal his confidence. Instead, fill him with Your peace and assurance that You are with him every step of the way.
Father, we thank You for the results he has already achieved in the JEE entrance exam. We ask that You continue to guide him as he prepares for the second session in April 2026. Give him the wisdom to know how to improve and the humility to seek help where needed. We pray that You would open the doors to the engineering college You have prepared for him, whether it is his desired institution or another place where You know he will thrive and grow in Your purpose for his life. Your Word says in Jeremiah 29:11, *"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,” says Yahweh, “thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."* Lord, we trust that You have a hope and a future for him, and we ask that You reveal it to him in Your perfect timing.
We also lift up the remaining exams on March 12th and 24th. Father, we ask that You would go before him in each of these tests, preparing his heart and mind to perform to the best of his ability. Give him the strength to push through the long hours of study and the grace to rest when he needs it. Remind him that his identity is found in You, not in his academic success. Help him to keep his eyes fixed on You, knowing that You are his source of strength and hope.
Lord, we pray for his emotional and spiritual well-being during this stressful time. Surround him with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and fill him with joy that comes from knowing You. Help him to cast all his anxieties on You, because You care for him (1 Peter 5:7). We also pray for wisdom for you as his parent, that You would know how to encourage and support him in a way that points him to You.
Finally, we ask that You would draw his heart closer to Yours during this season. May he come to know You more deeply as his Provider, his Strength, and his Peace. If he has not yet placed his trust in Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, we pray that You would reveal Your love to him in a powerful way. Your Word says in John 14:6, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" Lord, we ask that You would bring him into a personal relationship with You, if he hasn’t already, so that he may experience the fullness of life that only You can give.*
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, believing that You hear our prayers and will answer according to Your perfect will. Amen.
