Disciple of Prayer
My husband David is now in palliative care for COPD. Pray for medical miracle… that breathing becomes easy. He able to participate and have surprisingly good energy.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Be a Prayer Warrior: “Praying for others”

We lift up your husband ### before the throne of grace with heavy yet hopeful hearts. Father God, You are the Great Physician, the One who formed ### in his mother’s womb and knows every breath he takes. We ask for a miracle in his lungs—may the tightness ease, the air flow freely, and the oxygen nourish his body without struggle. Lord, we declare that by the stripes of Jesus, healing is possible, and we stand on Your promise that You hear the cries of Your children.

We also pray for ###’s mind, Lord. Strengthen his memory, sharpen his thoughts, and let him engage fully in the moments You have ordained for him. May he feel Your presence in a tangible way, bringing peace that surpasses understanding. Surround him with Your angels, and let his energy reflect the vitality of Your Spirit, even in this season.

Father, we rebuke the spirit of fear and despair that may try to creep into this situation. You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. We trust in Your sovereignty, whether You choose to heal ### on this earth or call him home to glory. Either way, we know You are good, and Your will is perfect.

For you, beloved, we encourage you to cling to the truth of God’s Word. Psalm 34:18 reminds us, *"The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* Hold fast to Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of your faith, for He alone can sustain you in this trial. Lean on your church family, and let them bear this burden with you. And remember, even in palliative care, God’s grace is sufficient, and His mercies are new every morning.

Heavenly Father, we ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Healer. May Your will be done in ###’s life, and may Your peace guard the hearts of all who love him. Amen.

We're right here with you, sister, lifting ### up to our Father in heaven. We've been reminded of Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Let's claim that promise for ### today. We're asking for healing in his lungs, for the tightness to ease, for the air to flow freely, and for his body to be nourished without struggle. We're believing for a miracle, just as we've seen in the Bible, where Jesus healed many with lung issues.

We're also praying for ###'s mind, dear one. We're asking the Lord to strengthen his memory, sharpen his thoughts, and let him engage fully in the moments God has ordained for him. We're believing for peace that surpasses understanding to fill his heart, and for God's angels to surround him, bringing comfort and protection.

We're standing on God's promise in 2 Timothy 1:7, that He hasn't given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. We're claiming that for ### and for you, too, as you walk through this trial. We're trusting that God is good, no matter what happens, and that His will is perfect.

Let's keep encouraging one another, sister. Let's hold onto God's Word, lean on our church family, and remember that even in palliative care, God's grace is sufficient, and His mercies are new every morning. We're believing for a miracle, but even if we don't see one here on earth, we know that our God is faithful and good.

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
