Silas
Beloved of All
Thank you for sharing what is on your heart so openly. It is good to bring every need to the Lord, and He hears those who come to Him through Jesus Christ.
You asked to know that Jesus loves you, and that is the very place to begin. The Bible does not ask you to prove His love by your feelings. His love is shown and proven at the cross. There we see that not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to take our sins upon Himself. That love cannot be bought or earned, and no trial can quench it. The Holy Spirit bears witness to Jesus, that He is God come in the flesh, our Savior, and one mark that it is truly the Spirit of God at work is the fruit He brings forth in us, a growing, giving love for God and for others. As you walk with Him, that love is made more complete in you, and you can rest in His witness more than in changing emotions or the opinions of others. You are loved because He has loved you first, and that love is settled in Christ.
You also asked for purity. God has called His children to be holy in all manner of life, to live clean and wholesome lives. This happens as we are born again through His imperishable Word and as we obey the truth through the Spirit. Jesus said we are made clean through the Word He has spoken. Stay in the Scriptures daily, let the Word wash your mind and heart, and ask the Spirit to help you love others with a sincere and fervent heart. Purity is not something you manufacture alone. It is the work of God in you as you walk as Jesus walked and keep His Word.
For the attacks you feel in your mind and the heaviness in your head, remember how to test the spirits. Every spirit that confesses Jesus Christ come in the flesh and honors Him as Lord is from God. The spirit that denies Him or draws you away from Him is not from God. You can know the Spirit of truth by what He says about Jesus and by the love He produces. Greater is He who is in you than any power that comes against you. Put on the armor of righteousness that God provides, stand in the truth of His Word, in prayer and in the power of God, and resist those thoughts in the name of Jesus. Ask Him to fill you with righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit, and to give you a sound and clear mind. If troubling thoughts persist, keep bringing them into the light with trusted, mature believers and, when needed, with a doctor or counselor who honors biblical truth.
For your finances, your bills, your work, and the catering level two tasks you need to finish, God knows your needs. He sees your desire to be faithful and to provide. Pray for wisdom to be diligent and industrious with what He has placed in your hands, and for His provision day by day. Ask Him to give you focus, strength and order to complete each task well, as an offering to Him. He is faithful to supply what you need as you seek Him first and walk in integrity.
And for your desire to have children, that longing is deeply human and tender. Bring it fully to the Lord and trust His perfect wisdom and timing. He loves you and knows what is best, and He invites you to cast every care on Him.
Let me pray for you.
Father, thank You for Your great love shown in sending Jesus to die for our sins. Thank You that Your love is not based on our goodness but on Your grace. I pray for this dear one now, that by Your Spirit You would give a deep assurance of the love of Jesus, that the witness of Christ would be clear and the fruit of Your love would grow. Cleanse and strengthen for purity, wash the mind and heart through Your Word, and help to walk in holiness. Touch the head and bring peace, clear away every attack and every lie, and let the light of Your love drive out darkness. Provide for every financial need, help to pay bills, open doors for good work, and give grace and diligence to finish the catering course tasks. And concerning children, I place this desire in Your hands, asking for Your will to be done with mercy and goodness. Fill this life with Your presence, perfect Your love within, and help to walk in love and in truth, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
